Calm down! Calm down people! The games aren't better than one another, they are different. First of all, IMO is not a moderately text involving game, therefor it is not even the same game type as Bedlam. Sure, IMO will most likely get many more players and significantly more money, but why? For starters, IMO was developed by an extremely large multinational mobile gaming company that has employees with more combined knowledge and experience than one developer, or small team of developers alone. Second of all, IMO has taken much longer to develop and perfect. Lastly, Com2us has spent countless hours more time advertising and promoting IMO. Bedlam is a good game from what I've heard, maybe not as polished or massive as IMO, but still a good game. If I had to choose between IMO and Bedlam I would pick IMO. Don't get your hopes up though, its not for the reasons you think. I myself, and I would think many other gamers, would pick IMO over Bedlam simply because a majority of the modern day gaming crowd likes games that are "cute" and "anime style" more than ones that are just classic somewhat text based, complicated games. I am not saying IMO is a better game so don't get that idea into your heads. I am not sure which one is better, I am only sure which one will be the most well received by today's gamers, and that is IMO. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that Bedlam is a game created for the older and more mature gaming audience, whereas IMO is intended for children anywhere from the age of 10 to adults who enjoy some juvenile fun. In conclusion, I hope I didnt "waste" thirty minutes of my time writing this comment, as it's intent was to settle this issue. Also, please don't rant about my writing, as it is not intended to offend either developer, or any of their customers.

@addiego: I'm glad there's another adult here. Yes, you nailed it, my app is a niche game targetting older players as well as those who look for game depth over polish. There are passengers for every train. IMO will have plenty of them, and that's to be expected. That said, I do take offense when people who haven't played my game or played it for 5 minutes, dismiss it with insults and then go on to say that it's somehow universally 'crap' just because they couldn't figure it out or didn't enjoy it. That's immature, as I'm sure they'll eventually learn, probably many years from now. Are we wasting our time trying to teach them that before they learn it themselves, the hard way? Probably.

enough of the junk, leave it be. keep to information pertaining to the game this thread was made for. i for one would like to know how far along the build is, and how the current beta testers feel the game is developing. i love a good rpg, and this one looks right up my street. can anyone give me a good description of how the combat runs?

You can expect the game to hit the stores late March/April. I feel the build i tested a month ago was too raw and lacking but it was still fun to play anyway. I'm pretty sure the game was delayed because they are making the gameplay more richer than it was before along with fixing bugs, typos and balancing issues. The combat runs pretty much like any other MMORPG. You equip yourself with different items, as well as combat, passive and active skills and buffs and fight your enemy. You got 3 classes: Ranger, Fighter and Mage. *Ranger specialises in accuracy and fast, long range damage. However the damage is not that great. They got some good armor and moderate HP and MP. *Fighter is a close combat class but deals great damage. However, in the beta build i felt it was too inaccurate thus making it a bit weaker. I'm pretty sure they'll fix this. *Mage, similar to Ranger, but focuses more on skills and buffs, it's a bit slower but it deals great damage and they have a few good spells like being able to freeze targets (i got my ass handed with this in pvp lol). However, their disadvantage is their weak armor and low HP. As i stated before, Late March or April. There is no need to "try again" only after 6 mins passed lol. Not a lot of people that played the game have time to pass by and make a moderate reply ^_^ You're lucky I'm around and i have nothing to do Wait...there's a match right now! Damn I'll be away.
You know what I wasn't part of this flamewar but your really getting on my nerves, why? Because the last 10 page or so have been about YOU and not IMO in the IMO thread. More than 1 person can be considered as we right? Well than I bet I can find way more than 1 who will agree with redsoxsrule424. And I'll be the first here.
