Ah. They don't mean complete as in FINISH the game. It's an MMO, after all. All you have to do is play the game, report anything weird or buggy you find, and answer the developer's questions. You will receive an iTunes gift card code, which can be redeemed like a promo code and will credit your account $10.
Well, isn't the Junior Member so high and mighty now. I've beta tested for them many times and each time I've received my gift card.
Umm, they have no reason to. What is your complaint here exactly? They are REWARDING you for your efforts. If you don't want to take part of it, then that's fine, your loss. I hope you realize that Com2uS is a major company in the iPhone gaming world.
People should never give out their UDID because people can use it for things like accessing your apple account, locking your phones through support, etc. No game has access to UDID, and the iPhone gaming world is still in its growth stage so that means absolutely nothing. People need to be careful here because it does seem like a scam.
I can attest to recieving my gift cards as well. Com2US is just as legit as any other big dev in the app store. Do a little research HeroofTime before you make false assumptions.
We would like to reassure that we need UDIDs in order to make and provide ad-hoc builds. If there is any other way to provide pre-launched game builds without knowing UDIDs, please let us know. Well consider that way.
Hey com2us, do you want me to send you my UDID, just in case you forgot to put mine in the provision file? Because I cant install the game, and I have tried everything, maybe thats the solution.
You got to provide UDID if you want to beta test for ANY iphone games... you need to provide UDID so that Developers can give access to the beta games to the testers using Itunes/Iphone Config Utility.... Unless you have Jailbroken device.
Lol. Leave the poor soul alone. I'm assuming it's his first ever beta testing, hence his lack of knowledge of how the process works. But he sure is quick to shoot off his mouth.

Well is he a tester? I mean i want to be nice to the fellow, but you cant barge in and accuse one of the major indie iphone devs a SCAM.
Yeah, I think he got into this beta, which is his first one ever. But yeah, that was pretty "out there" to accuse Com2uS of trying to scam anyone, lol. That just made me laugh.
