Sweet. Could everyone whos willing to join a Beta Testers guild please send me a friend request so I can more easily contact you?
No offense or anything, but out of ALL the beta testing I've done, this game has a lot of the most inexperienced, immature testers. Other than me. Hope you guys can give legitimately good feedback though. From what I've read, some of you (like -xEliteNinjax-) just want to get the game and play it instead of actually helping out the developers (whom I've great friends with). Honestly, Com2uS is my favorite developing company, and if you guys do shitty work I'll get extremely pissed off.
Fine. It will be a clan of us 49 inexperienced testers vs you in a raid. Hrmmmm.....I have experience and besides, if people never chose people without experience you wouldn't have any experience...nowgo make a brag thread. Hahaha jk
I'm just saying, I understand that we need to pick fresh testers every time, but THIS time some of the "testers" don't even seem like they will test the game. They'll just play it, give useless one word feedback to the questions, and leave. My comment wasn't aimed specifically at you, just at SOME people. I understand what excitement it's like to be testing a game for the first time, and one by Com2uS at that. However, beta testers are recognized by their feedback. If you don't give good feedback, you won't be testing many games.
I am right with you there though. Some people think this just a free ticket for a game. It's not. It's bug hunting time
I absolutely agree with this. I've been working as a game journalist for over a year now, and I've begun to specialize in MMO's and generally online based games, and I can honestly say that one of the worst things I ever see is people who sign up for and join betas just so they can play the game first and have fun with no consideration toward actually helping. Thats not to say that you can't have fun in the process, but your main goal should be to test the game out and give honest, legitimate feedback as to what you've played, what works, and what needs to change.
