Even tho this game sounds interesting, for some reason I can't stop having the feeling that some of the posts on this thread are from people related to the game, so their comments and opinions might be biased... Eitherway, we can have a better opinion when it does come out and people try it out by themselves. $0.99 is an excellent price, but at least I'll wait for more comments about it (and maybe reviews from websites?) before jumping on the boat.
if you want to read the review of beta testers, go to the upcoming iphone game thread. the beta testers post their review and some screenshot there
for people who beta tested this game, can you tell me that if you equip a different equipment, does that change the appearance of the character? and how many classes are there?
+1, I'll definitely be picking this up the second it's out since I do that with the release of every new game, but the posts in this thread do indeed raise some doubts. Like you said, we'll see the truth soon enough.
Yeah, some of the posts seem a bit off. I'll more than likely get this, but I have no expectations that this will be better than Chaos Rings. When you title the thread like it is, you're asking for trouble, IMO.
One thing not mentioned by anyone when discussing the price is the IAP. Just about everything costs an additional 99 cents - 5 first aid kits, bigger bag, weapon slot. 3 dollars to get more runes. 2 - 4 dollars for rare armor, depending on the type. I don't blame them, as almost every game of this type now has the similar to SEED item IAP. I have played much better balanced games that utilize IAP, but do know people that have progressed far into the game without it (well I assume they didn't use it) so it's possible for sure. But in spirit of full disclosure thought you should know.
Thanks... this just went from instabuy to heck no. Shame... I hate IAP driven games, what a vile mess. I'm still hopeful the IAP will be optional/minor but otherwise I'll be wishing destructive thoughts towards the developers from my bunker in TX.
I've played Inotia 3 for a while because I'm a huge fan of Inotia series. But I also made a very disappointing review on Inotia 3 and just felt like I have to play it because I already paid for it. Good thing I read a comment in app store that Apple is giving a refund and got one. There's no reason for me to play that game anymore. Also I don't work or whatsoever with Menara or allstar, i'm not even a beta tester. I bought the game and just loves it (even on a different language version). My opinion is not biased because I'm not getting anything from them. They won't even reply to my emails or anything. Maybe its hard for them to speak in english or something. Hehe.
The version that people had access to was actually a release version. We got a promo code for it instead of a beta version. The IAP were not in effect and were totally not needed. Also that those IAP pricing wasn't set in stone originally. . I was under the impression that this game was coming out tomorrow. The version Mewko is talking about was actually pulled form the US app store a while ago becuase it was KR. Seriously, just go to the beta thread. Most of the impressions were solid. The IAP actually made several people upset but in the beta questionere you could (and I hope others did) put that the items IAP should be available in game.
I noticed it with headgear. Also there are classes and subclasses. This is definitely worth it if you have ever enjoyed a krpg.
While I don't particularly agree with you're getting a refund after playing the game, I was just stating that in my opinion you weren't affiliated with the company. Thats all
Yes to appearance changes and to 3 classes. The game is pretty fun and different. All in all if u like RPGs u will like this one, I personally dig it.
I am simply a geek for RPGs Hehe. Sorry if some people thought I am somewhat related to them or anything. But seriously, if people showed me a good rpg and a forum for it, and i'll help out in every possible way I can. ^_^
Yeah I had that version too. I got pretty far without using any. But the very first shop you get to in the first village had everything for real money. Now I don't know what the final decision was as they did not tell us what they were doing regarding that; and my answer on the questionnaire was to leave it out and have the initial cost higher instead, but unless a new version was uploaded in that time the IAP is in there. If one likes to grind, I am sure you can get through the game. Will you get the rare armors though? I dunno I got tired of grinding and running back to the rest area to heal over and over. Glad you like the game and I was pretty enthralled with it at first too but it does get discouraging and the fact that IAP was even being considered - and included in the version I assume is going to be released tomorrow (since it had as a release date on that version as Jan 31st) people should know before they buy it that there IS indeed IAP in the game and they are not surprised. I liked the game better than some of the other Korean RPG's I have played yes. But as I said I tired of it. And just because I liked it doesn't mean I can't point out the negative. In fact it is important that we DO point out the ins and outs of the game so people can make an informed purchase. Add: I have been mixed on this subject the last few days and have mentioned that in other games there is no need for the IAP but there is a difference between IAP as "cheats" to help you beat an otherwise completely balanced game faster and IAP for items not available otherwise. I believe that in some cases here that is the case - some items are not available without an additional purchase. I hope they listened and changed that model - higher release price and no nickel and dime the consumer through IAP for items unavailable otherwise; but since we do not know for sure that they did, I don't want people to get the game and be upset and disappointed that there is IAP.
