The greatest things you can do that cost no money are volunteering for your community. I'm just throwing these things out here, kind of off subject, but if any of you have that "feeling" inside telling you to help other people, start there.
Nah, not really. I don't mind helping in my small way by paying taxes, but I've got no urge to actually go out and do something about it I'd still prefer the money to go towards everyone. I don't want to have to sit and decide who deserves help more than others, rank each person by the seriousness of their ailments and then only help the ones I deem important enough. The money I put in should be accessible to anyone who needs it, I'm not gonna play the judge when it comes to healthcare. If I really felt compassionate about one cause in particular I'd either do as dogmeat suggests and volunteer, or donate to that charity separately.
I'm really careful with my stuff, but I have a puppy ( see my profile for pics of the monster ) who runs like crazy and sometimes catches one of these cables and pulls it. At what point should I go get a new cable? when it stops working? is there the risk of causing shock to the device?
Yeah man mines just like that too. I wrapped a little duct tape around it, as duct tape will fix any problem in any situation at any time. Then my kitty went and chewed up the other end that plugs into the device, so I pretty much have an iPod cord completely made out of duct tape that works just fine.
With my headphones, like 30% of the cord is worn down to the bare wire because I listen to music and fall asleep. Then I wake up to find the cord wrapped around my neck lol.

For insulting kijib about his....problems. My ban message was "stop spamming about kijib's spamming, and learn to be nicer" This makes me mad. Yeah, well, I'm glad I am back too. I missed me and my funny posts.
He wasn't issued a temp ban because you're more annoying. And while he's spamming, he's not being a dick.
