That's what worries me. Under the current system there remains a healthy private sector to turn to. Without the prospect of reward I don't believe as many people will become doctors. The second thing is how do we push innovation in a system where all are not only paid the same but treated the same. Much of the world has done this through the US's extensive reward system(capitalism). We take the risks, everyone benefits. Changing our health system may effect more than just Americans.
It's like that here sometimes, even when you DO pay for it. I broke my hand a few years back and was in the waiting room for 6 hours before being seen. That was no fun, went through like 10 icepacks. I was one of like a dozen other people in the waiting room that all had pretty serious injuries. If you want any sort of fast and reliable services, you basically have to pay out the ASS for it, which the vast majority cannot.
Just for Spidey, I found a new forum. That's why I haven't been here. Here it is: http://forum.learnnavi.org/
Sorry I was outside but I don't really feel like arguing anymore. I don't think you read that post correctly though. I will say though this country is going against all it's principles by switching to government run health care, which is socialistic, though I'm not trying to say this country is socialist, though the government in place now does seem to be more accepting of socialistic values.
