Try this one on for size: the NHS is told not to spend more than 45,000 dollars a year to keep a citizen living for a year.

    Also, learn to spell right.

Learn to spell right? HAHA. I dont give a shit if I spelled "lassez-faire" wrong. It seems to be the only word you know the meaning to. I'll try and guess that you are finally taking some social studies class and all this excitment over the health care debate has made you post responses about shit you have no clue about.

NHS? National health Service in England? Good one dude, you put me in my place. So even if that fact was relevant, what the hell is that even supposed to mean?
45,000 > 7,000. Happy? Honestly, you tried being smart in the 'school' thread and you failed hard.

    Again, kijib, EPIC UBER-MEGA FAIL.

That's way off of our off-topic talk, we don't eat together on TA, thank god we don't, otherwise I'd have to listen to you.

    So... how's Pokemon World?

People going nuts there because of you?

Wanting to stuff you in a ball (which BTW, you have none of)?

    I thought so.

wtf are you talking about how is that not relevant? If we're switching to government run health care we mine as well look at current examples of it. And I don't see why you wouldn't care about capitalism and laissez-faire, since it was a major part of the establishment of this country. I honestly don't even know why you live in America if you want to throw its principles completely out the window.

Also, saying someone 'failed hard' does not help your case of actually being intelligent.

Again, I'm no conservative but I do think people like you are trying to rush this major decision for the country through even though you're ill-informed.

You'll be the only one there, because it only exists in your mind.

And no one wants to see whats in your mind.

Why? I went without health insurance for a while, broke my arm and got surgery for it. While I payed out of pocket for it there were programs to help if I couldn't.

I love it. love it love it love it. STILL NO FACTS.

Okay you know how I said you were in a social studies class? I stand corrected.
More like middle school social studies/ Us history. Your repeated comments about the founding father dont mean shit. I don't recall the founding fathers ever promoting capitalism. They say that the governement should not control too much. Thats why there are state's rights, 3 branches with checks and balances, people's right to own arms, and a lot more.
Captailism is good to a certain extent. You seem to love it's pros without ever considering the cons. If the government didnt regulate the economy (which isn't lassez-faire) than we would have monopolies in every sector. There are laws not allowing companies to own too large a share of the market. This isn't in traditional capitalism. Its called GOVERNMENT INTERVENTION and it HELPS EVERYONE. If microsoft (I'm taking them over apple ATM) didnt have these laws applied to them then they would control all the prices.

So far I'm seeing you want a governement like the articles of confederation. Lots of state power, lassez-faire government, no government taxes, etc. How'd that turn out Mr. History? I believe those were made by the founding fathers (plural) too?

Life is like a hurricane here in Duckburg
Race cars, lasers, aeroplanes - it's a duck blur
You might solve a mystery or rewrite history

    Duck Tales, Oo-oo
Tales of derring-do, bad and good luck tales, oo-oo

D-d-d-danger, watch behind you - there's a stranger out to find you
What to do? Just grab onto some Duck Tales, oo-oo!
Not pony tails or cotton tails but Duck Tales, oo-oo!

When it seems they're headed for the final curtain
Bold deduction never fails, that's for certain
The worst of messes become successes!

    Duck Tales, Oo-oo

Well obviously, growing up with it just makes me wonder how anyone could do without it. It all seems to make perfect sense, a country is supposed to take care of it's citizens... it should give them a job, a place to live, and if they hurt themselves it should fix 'em up. Start taking away that stuff and people would lose all respect.
