There is a chance we will add new maps in the future and also let people create their own maps and share them with the rest of the community.
There are 21 campaign missions and 53 maps total for online play. You can also play solo vs. the computer (and have to unlock all 53 maps as you go) and there is also a hot seat mode. The campaigns start very easy and get more difficult as it goes. The ultimate difficulty level is online play where you will be able to fight for world domination.. that will be extremely difficult depending on the opponent...
No random skirmishes but you can create any fight you want against the computer on any map you want so that is somewhat random... Also, you can start a random match online against someone else of your ranking level...
There is a map editor already that has been used for designing all the maps. The map editor will be released for free at some point and then we may allow people to create and share their own maps.
Wow. I have to say, this is one game that I am seriously looking forward too. Ever since I heard that the release was supposed to be in April, I've been spamming the search button in the Apple Store looking for the release of this. In the interest of the impending release, are you planning to update your website to include content for the game? Specifically, I was looking for screenshots, forums, strategies, etc.
Yes, we are in fact working on the website right now but it is not yet finished and so we have not been able to release it. We are hoping that in the middle of next week, we can show more content on it. Haha those are like the exact games I'm excited for (in ur sig) minus NFS unless its gets really good reviews. Tired of waiting months with no sign of devs or progress.
Oh - I have one more question. What is the minimum firmware version required to install? Right now, I like to keep my iPhone at 2.2...
When 3.0 comes around will we be able to team up with a friend to do co op in the campain with the peer to peer connectivity that is going to be released with 3.0
