I'm biased and will tell you UniWar, but I'm sure they are both worth your time. What will be the total cost $2? That's a bottle of water you buy at a park that you will drink and never remember.

Buy them both and experience them for yourself! ;-)

buy both, they're only 0,99 each - should be instant buy for everyone

I like Uniwar and the new update is on the way ... seriously though at .99 buy both.

They both have major flaws (and strengths).
Uniwar's flaw is that the fatal bug involving extreme lag in single player mode was never fixed, or even mentioned to be worked on by the developers (who never visit the forums anymore after making enough sales). Its interface and gameplay are excellent otherwise, though it lacks animations.
Mecho Wars is much smoother, and has battle and movement animations; however I found the game way too slow since you can't skip anything, and can't even change text speed or any other game options.

    at my computer?
    buy both.

Uniwar has an advantage with the online multiplayer, BUT Mecho Wars is getting an update with that included.

Single Player, I would go with Mecho Wars.

If Mecho Wars uses the same online play that Uniwar has then I would hands down go with Mecho Wars.

You can skip the battles sequences in Mecho Wars ever since launch. Either tap the screen when they come up, or go into options and turn them off.

I know you can skip battle animations, I was referring to overall game speed. You have to wait for all the text to finish scrolling every time, and there's even an "environment" turn you have to wait for, which gets annoying after a while.

We do visit the forums occassionally but since Uniwar.com launched we support the official forums there and give it as much attention as we can.

Single player lag was fixed via a client update that was submitted to Apple earlier this month. We are still waiting for approval and then the update will be worth the wait!

Both of these games have lots of passion in them. You can't go wrong and the price is seriously a steal.....at $0.99 it's all about the passion and love for the game!

Happy Playing regardless of your choice!

I agree with Aurora. Everything should be skippable. All the text, banners, the environment turn, the bit when you stare at the money popping up out of your little cities, the enemies turn(which goes on and on).....everything!

Curiously, you implemented a skip when the banner 'winged crusaders' is announced, yet you didn't do it for the rest of the game:confused: (except the battle scenes). If all that was changed in the next next up-date, I would be a very happy bunny on the beach;)

Was a Uniwar early adopter so I haven't tried Mecho Wars yet. With the sale price tho I finally get to try them both out. Big fan of turn-based strategy so it's win win either way. :p

I think that at that price, players should get both games :)

Agreed. You should buy both games at 99 cents. Having said that, I have enjoyed Mecho Wars more...
