While we wait for version 1.11 of UW to be approved we decided to do a .99 cent sale for Underworlds. 1.2 is almost ready for beta testing to start. 1.2 features a new quest line that allows your character to visit a new city and advance to level 20. Underwolds on iTunes Bill Pixel Mine
Bill you're the man. If I hadn't already bought UW I'd be buying it right now. Thoroughly salivating for 1.2 and the new areas to explore.
Sometimes it takes a few hours to spread around the world. The itunes server tech is very "interesting" .
Anybody who doesn't get this for a buck is honestly a moron. This game is an absolute gem for a buck, trust me, save the Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger for another day and pick this up.
I'm definitely thinking of picking this up as it's a very tempting sale. When some people say this game is "short", how short do they mean exactly? Are we talking done and dusted in five minutes, or is it just slightly shorter than the usual epic game time of a RPG?
the current character level is capped at 10 and it would probably take around 45 min to an hour to complete the game right now if you just played straight through ...so i'm definitely looking forward to the addition of new content
Really? As little gameplay as that? Ouch! Was it supposed to be that short when it was first released? Still, I might pick it up anyway while it's cheap if there is more content on the way which will bulk the game out a bit more.
That's not quite correct. There is only 1 non-restart game of less that a hour in the rankings, and that one looks to be some kind of bug with the rankings that is fixed in the 1.11 update. Most people take 3-6 hours to finish a from scratch playtrhough.
The very first time I played this game I beat it in a hour and a half WITHOUT knowing what to do or where to go.... 3 - 6 hours is just.... insane.
Thanks for the reassurance OneEye. Three to six hours sounds like a reasonable amount of game time if I spread it over a few sessions. And as I'm not exactly an expert with RPGs, I'll probably be at the higher end of the time scale The extra content sounds good too. It's nice to see you're expanding the game.
For me, I don't think the problem with this game is its story length, but its lack of replayability. I really wish this game would have randomised dungeons. I took 3-4 hours to finish it on normal. I did take my time killing everything and exploring every corner before moving on.
