    @Pete

Big lists are great! And FYI, always more accurate to check the last few pages rather than the list. List isn't updated regularly.

Numerity and Alter Ego sound cool

Glad to hear it, I did this from my iPad so it wasn't as neat and comprehensive as I'd like but if big lists are a good thing I'll go through the whole thread and list every game and then post any not mentioned. There's something wrong with me when that actually sounds fun! Oh and good choices with Poppy Kart and Alter Ego - both are mainstays on my device after completion! Cheers :)

    Can't find Dark Dot.. =/

Just curious why you think Space Croissant is slightly better than bit Dungeon? bit Dungeon was really fun to me..but eventually each round lasted soo long...

Just finished listing up the 300+ games mentioned in this thread so far. Tiring, but I now have a lovely alphabetised shopping list for my reference! Huge kudos to Darth Ronfar for making and maintaining this!

Also means I can list a load more without fear of duplicating, apologies for a big one incoming! :p

Dark Dot looks to have been removed for some reason. I can still redownload it but I can't see any info etc. or post the link. There are youtube videos of gameplay and all that but I doubt that will make up for it, sorry.

As for Space Croissant/Bit Dungeon, they're very similar but I find SC to be a bit faster - you level up and find loot a lot more often. I love them both but SC's smaller rooms and more enemies makes it feel a bit more exciting to me at least

I'm so sorry for making a nuisance of myself with long lists but I've bought a few from this thread already so hopefully I can return the favour with a few hidden gems. I went by the theory that games with 20 or less ratings in the AppStore in total indicated a small purchase pool but I could be wrong so correct me if it's needed:

3volution - Physics highscore chaser with a lot of character and replayability
Absotruckinlutely - Endless Monster Truck racer with upgrades and emphasis on big stunts and fun.
Apocalypse Lab - A reversed Plague Inc. Free with no ads or IAPs.
Baby Nom Nom - Physics maze puzzler which oozes quality and charm.
Barcode Wars - Scan barcodes from any real life item to spawn unique monsters to fight. F2P but unobtrusive.
Bucketz - A nice simple balancing arcade game that's surprisingly entertaining and hectic
Campaign the Game - Wonderful but totally overlooked Kairosoft style advertisement agency sim. Lots of good humour
Command Crisis: Callsign - Quality shmup that very quickly becomes frantic. Random mission generator is a great addition
Crypto-Families or Cryptograms - Classic word game but beautifully presented. Plenty of content and challenge.
Dungeonism - Rogue-lite with a nice aesthetic and decent pace. Slight Brough feel to it at times
Emberwind - Couldnt believe how few had played possibly my favourite platformer on iOS. So many secrets and lots of character.
Escape from Alcatraz - Rogue-lite crossed with a Point N Click. Short and sweet but very easy to get stumped.
GOL: Legend - Slayin' made in a slightly more serious D&D style. Brutally difficult in the boss battles but worth it
Hedges - Unashamedly retro. Navigate maze to rescue children whilst being chased by horrific monsters.
Hurricane Rush - Barmy endless runner. Guide various objects through the centre of a hurricane avoiding debris, sharks and other bonkers stuff
Liberation Maiden - One of my favourite devs, Level-5. High quality shooter with great cinematic story scenes
Mech Mice - Gorgeous Shining Force/Fire Emblem style game with a simple one-time IAP unlock. Totally overlooked.
Ninjammin Beat-Jitsu - Brutal and punishing rhythm platformer. I adore everything about this game but it kicks my butt constantly
Pathpix - Any game from this series offers really good amounts of content, puzzles and well-made art.
Ragtime Ruffian - Pixelly Wild West villain puzzle game where you lay train tracks to hit all of your victims.
Rev Ersi Quest - Tough to penetrate RPG take on Othello/Reversi. A lot more to it than would first appear
The Legend of the Holy Archer - Inexplicably compelling archery game with gigantic boss monsters and lots of secrets.
Towelfight 2: The Monocle of Destiny - Another amazing action roguelike from Butterscotch. So much to love and so much character.
TownCraft - MineCraft-esque with a mission mode. Lots of character but takes a while to get used to it. Promises no IAPs ever.
Treasure Tower Sprint - A mixture of a roguelike and Pac-Man. Simple but sometimes that's what you feel like playing
Triple Triad - Unofficial replication of the FF8/9 card game. Not fantastically done but the game is still a classic for me
UsagiMan - MegaMan inspired platformer with unique controls. Totally free and well worth playing
Wave Trip - Beautiful visually and aurally. Rhythm shmup/runner with a brilliant level creator
Windsquire: Race from Dragon Castle - Surprisingly enjoyable level-based climber. Unobtrusive ads and a decent unique challenge.

    Sorry!

Kongregate: Tiny Dice Dungeons: A fantastic pixel TBS RPG. You basically battle monsters that you can obtain to fight next to you. You can also obtain special dice with some having different effects like healing or fire damage. Each turn, you tab to get a result from a 6 sided die. The neat part is you can keep adding to your damage by re-rolling. But if you roll a 1, you lose all the accumulated damage and lose your turn. You do the same thing with your pet.

I'll admit I used my secondary account when I stumble on this game so I'm not 100% sure it's available in the US yet but I believe it was free. This was like 3 weeks ago. But I recommend people checking it out as it's quite fun and refreshing experience.

I found a really nice little game called Tiger & Chicken, not sure if its hidden but its one I've never seen before. It's kind of a light RPG-action/Adventure game. The controls seem really smooth, and it looks beautiful. It's episodic, the first is free to try and then the other 3 are £4.99 to unlock in a bundle. I'm not sure on game length, however.

How the hell did a game with visuals like this go unnoticed? Any reviews anywhere?

Aside from on the appstore (though mostly good, some say the controls are iffy, but I find them perfect) There's a review on the first episode here:

The weirdest thing is apparently I've already downloaded Tiger & Chicken, I'm sure I'd remember something that pretty!

No sign of Tiny Dice Dungeons in the UK but it looks very interesting, cheers! Downloaded Ten too so I've got plenty to be doing thanks guys!

I'm thinking about getting space disorder but I see it spent quite some time being free, with a purchase of any iAP to remove ads. It's only 99p now, but I wonder if I would need to buy an iAP too, or if the ads were removed when the price went up?

It must still be in New Zealand itunes store. I have no clue why it hasn't gone world wide yet. It's a great game though.

    Heres the iTunes preview link:

Thanks for mentioning Dice Dungeons. Like you, I love the way you can optionally roll the dice multiple times for extra attack points, but if you roll a ONE, you forfeit that whole round. I'm constantly risking one more round of attacks, hoping not to roll a ONE. Monsters to catch. Different dice attributes to unlock by playing. Easy to pick up and play a few minutes. Highly recommended.
