Was thinking of buying async corp but does it work with iOS 7? Looking through the list of apps I own all of them apart from this one.
That list has a bunch of great games in it. It's oh so true that lots of indie games get noticed for 3 -4 days, but disappear from the download charts as soon as the reviews fade. At Monkube, we know how that feels (our 2nd game, Retrobot, was one of those victims) We do a weekly #indiegameyoumissed through our Facebook and Twitter page (free, just to help other indies out). This week, we took your advice and pushed Ronin. Which is a great game. While I'm here, I'm gonna promote our own stuff too. We recently did an iPad Exclusive version of our first game, 6th Planet. This 'Ultimate Edition' has iPad retina gfx, real comic pages (so no more image by image), reworked levels and iPad exclusive levels. And it is free to download, you can play half the game before reaching the first paywall. If you have an iPad and never played 6th Planet, give it a go. And if you like it, remember to leave a score. 6th Planet (iPad exclusive version) Price: FREE Download it at: https://itunes.apple.com/ca/app/6th-planet-game-comic-fusion/id680356455?mt=8
Hello, We released our game, Blaster X HD a few months back and we have a lot of people saying they really like it on the TA forums - calling it a "hidden gem." Since it is a Premium game, it slipped through the cracks, but we are starting to get more exposure (148Apps review 4/5, Kotaku, etc.) We are just a 2 man team (2GMG - 2 Guys Making Games) and we really tried to pack Blaster X HD with everything we could. With over 400+ handmade levels our game also has Zero Ads and Zero IAPs - absolutely none. If anyone would like to check it out, it would be greatly appreciated. Factory balls- barte bonte Very popular online, but sadly that didn't translate well to iOS because barely anyone realises the game is on the platform.
Think I have to give a special shoutout to Ronin and Pixman. Ronin has a wonderful art style and is a satisfying mix of evasive running/jumping and combat, as you gracefully slide under arrows and strike down your enemies And Commander Pixman now gets my vote as the best Super Meat Boy-esque game on IOS. The controls take some getting used to but they work well and very responsive, you have the awesome "see your attempts at once" style replays after beating a level, and the levels are just inventive and freaking hard.
^Great calls Bronxsta. Also, remembering what Hope This Works Games Inc's article was about, I believe Polara needs more attention and deserve to be in this list. Cheers!
Commander Pixman, Rõnin and Polara are all excellent, proper games. @snozzy: thanks for the Factory Balls recommendation, it's pretty unique and I'm enjoying it.

Zombie Kill of the Week http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=210513 Don't overlook this just because it's free and zombies. My impressions from the game's thread: Some of the prices are kind of high, but the gameplay is fun enough that I don't find it that grindy.
I just found a game while snooping around the Canadian AppStore called The Coma. I havnt dug too far into it, but from what I've played so far, it's really cool. It's an Erie game similar to similar to Limbo IMO.
I've done my best to check through the list for anything I might duplicate but it's a big list so I may have made a few misses. Hopefully, being new, I'll be able to bring something decent to the table and make myself useful! A Ride into the Mountains - Amazing Ghibli-esque retro arcade adventure A Story of a Band - Kairosoft style musical band management sim Alter Ego - A wonderful life sim remake with huge variation Asterogue - Action roguelike with decent loot etc. Baroque - Mental console Roguelike, very niche Bravura: Quest Rush - Barely mentioned these days. Lovely RPG runner combo colorpickle - Musical Tilt to live. Incredibly addictive, very fair IAPs Dark Dot - Shmup with RTS trappings. Epic Pirate Story - Kairosoft style Pirate management sim Frederic: Resurrection of Music - Bonkers music game, absolutely mental Game of Watchcraft - Game and Watch take on WoW. Beautiful presentation HROOGAR with friends - Imperfect board game but tries so hard and is charming Hoplite - GotY candidate for me. Brutal chess roguelike. Absolutely love it Isle of Bxnes - Another GotY. Beautiful, violent, punishing ARPG Magnetic Blueprints: Billiards - Pool physics puzzler Merchant to the Stars - Shopkeeper RPG sim, gets repetitive but unique MicroVentures - Absolutely free roguelike that's borderline perfect Mini Mix Mayhem - Play 4 mini-games at once. Frantic and very fun My Mini Castle - Sweet and simple castle defence with penguin and vegetables Mysterious Castle - Labour of love roguelike with SRPG mechanics Ninja Hero Cats - Bastion visuals, Pikmin gameplay. Cruelly overlooked Numerity - Astounding hidden objects game with a beautiful twist Overlive - Gamebook Zombie survival as good as any "professional" attempt Poppy Kart - Super Mario Kart in every way, totally ignored... Puzzle Realms - Picross puzzles in a Zelda world. Worth every penny Space Croissant - bit Dungeon style ARPG but slightly better IMO Sword & Glory - Amazing RPG both visually and playwise. The Grading Game - One of my all time favourites. Paper-marking sim, hilarious! Just realised how many I've put, I'm so sorry. At least I didn't post my original list!
Manyland - A creative MMO with not a single IAP! You create the blocks yourself with a simple paint like editor. Absolutely infatuated with this game currently, needs more recognition! Hopefully it gets featured, but I doubt it due to the no IAP thing. Baby lava bounce- addictive endless crusher, sort of like a mixture between tiny wings and burrito bison. Factory balls- great puzzler, it's a port of a popular flash game, but unfortunately it didn't do so well on iOS. Sushi snake- great puzzle game with minimalistic design. urp! Great puzzle platformer with a 3D rotating world. Super splatform- it's getting a bit of attention on TA, but no where else sadly. It's a great game that brings me back to my SNES days.. Pixel art graphics, you are a bouncing ball who must find the goal in each level with the least amount of bounces to get a gold medal.
Great call, been after a decent old skool Mario Kart game, played the free version, really liked it, has great controls (variety of them plus you can modify them) so i'll be unlocking this game for sure (£1.49)
