Do you think this game would be suitable for a PC/MAC release? Any plans to do so? I really like how I can play crystal cave classic on either my Mac Book or my iPhone.

Nice music, by the way. I'm definitely getting this game.

This game seems similar to The Quest except for the movement. The movement in this game seems rather jerky compared to The Quest.

Any beta testers to confirm about the movement?

It is a step-by-step movement as opposed to continuous movement of the Quest. It works very well, considering that the Undercroft areas are less expansive, but more varied than the Quest's and have more points of interaction.

And yes, lovely music. Every big area has it's own track, too.

The game is not 3D, the effect of "continuous" movements is just a fake effect to make an impression of continuous movement - the view from the previous square is interpolated/blended with the view of the new square. The Quest is fully 3D, so it moves between squares by just changing the position and rendering the scene several times.

That the movement looks jerky is probably because of timing, the movement from one square to another is fast for two reasons - to ensure it won't make the gameplay too slow-paced and it also hides the blending effect.

We have Windows version, which is used for development, but we are not sure if we will release it. But Mac version won't be available, the game can't be easily ported to Mac OS X. Also the 480x320 resolution is really small for PC/Mac release (Crystal Cave was designed for desktops, so it uses different (hires) graphics on pc/mac, that would not be possible for Undercroft).
