So far there are 2 great games coming out before the new year that I know of. Uncharted 2:Among Thieves(PS3) and COD Modern Warfare 2. well the ps3 exclusive JRPG Demon's Souls just came out today. if you are a fan of challenging JRPGs, then I highly recommend you pick this game up
Just checked out some youtube vids on that one, looks damn good. Seems more like a linear action RPG than an open world one. Do you have the game yet?
i don't use my ps3 ever,but i may have to get this game, it looks amazing. such a shame it has to be exclusive to sony though.
Lol i beat U2 about year ago, still in its early stages, cut scenes were still real actors, but great game. I love play tests =D
Demon's Souls is an action rpg. Basically, it's something like monster hunter, only that you get to choose a character class, and you are killing demons, undead, monsters and there's even dragons. Very realistic fight-play, imo. It is hard but not impossible. It takes a lot of patience and careful play. You can beat this game throughout solo, but you'll have more fun with multiplayer. Can't say there's much of a story... you can talk to the npc, interact with some objects, and you get a gist of what's happened in this game world. The environment is amazing. After beating a few stages in the first world, you can then choose to go to any world and start progressing through them in any order. wait r u serious? And btw way more reviews than that. Metacritic is where you have to look its a 97 average based on 35 reviews. Its actually above 97 though and was rounded down.

Tried the demo for Uncharted and Batman. Uncharted is a must buy and the new Batman is pretty good. COD MW2 is an obvious buy in Nov. Have to wait and see if Bethesda's new game Rogue Warrior will be as good as their other games. The demo doesn't do batman justice. The combat gets way more intricate and the stealth sections get way more fun
Uncharted 2 came out today, I picked it up on my way home. I'm gonna play some tonight and let everyone know if its all that(judging by the demo and reviews its great) now the full version.
Well for those who don't know already, this game is outstanding, both singleplayer and multiplayer. The presentation and story is presented to you like a good movie, the controls are near flawless, not quite as good as COD controls but very close. If you are on a budget for console games and can only spring a few from a list, I highly recommend you put this game at the top with your must buys.
