I love this game being en x-men fan. But I do agree with some other posts, the controls and game speed are very slow sometimes. Otherwise it's a real treat for comic fans. Also I am overjoyed at their choice to make it an actual premium game. I hope this dev makes more games like this because their He-Man game was also fun.
I met the dev team at the recent Ottawa comicon and got a chance to play a preview of this game at the show. I liked what I played, great graphics, fun to play and IMHO a decent purchase as the price seemed right (and no IAP!). I promised I would buy the game on release and I just did and my opinion has not changed, it's still a fun game. Well done guys, damn good job! I hope the sales support you so that more content will be coming. Rob
Is there any possibility you guys would consider producing a full Deadpool game as a sequel/spin-off to this one?
I like the control scheme, reminds me a bit like WS (swiping in a direction for skill attacks). The game definitely needs performance optimizations but this shouldn't keep anyone interested from buying this immediately. I really hope to see this game be successful, hopefully the devs will be able to add even more to it.
Deadpool has been gaining a lot of popularity over the last few years and would make for a great game. If the opportunity presented itself, we would be interested for sure.
^ it's hilarious. Totally needs some rework. It legit looks like they're floating when they jump, the running animation is hilarious as well. Other than that I'm enjoying myself!
Question, I have Wolverine maxed out but not unlocked his second costume yet. Do I have to max out each costume or does it carry over to each suit? Do the suits add anything or are they just cosmetic? Is Lockheed playable?
With the price dropped of the Logitech Powershell Controller... I've picked up one. I'm sure others picked them up a well. It would be great if you guys look into the Powershell Controller support as well.
How can you possibly say with a straight face that "IAP is not so prevalent" and be a part of the iOS gaming scene? Your priorities may be the ones out of order. You'd rather be more excited about a franchise game just because of the franchise, and then take it up the butt if it's free and loaded with paywalls and IAPs. But that's okay, because it's a franchise you care about. No, IAPs are in a way destroying the franchise you enjoy by adding mechanics to the game that are solely there to frustrate, annoy, or waste your time to convince you to pay. Having a premium X-Men game you just pay for once and never have to pay a single cent again gives you full access to the game, and it plays like...holy crap, a regular GAME always has and always should! Devs going premium and even listing it as a bulletpoint shows that they are listening to the core crowd. It means there are still devs out there passionately making the project they want, and not doing it in a way to squeeze 100 dollar gem packs out of whales. It is a very good thing to me.
@GlitchSoft: THANK YOU! I'm so impressed with this game. I've been an X-Men fan for a lot of years. I'm really enjoying your game. Hope you get a boat full of cash from this...it's easily a $20 value if it was on any other handheld system. Richard
Well, the movie is out and so had this game, too, very pity. I can't deny that i'm enjoying it quite a bit, but i'd rather have waited another three months (or even some more) to get my hands on. Honestly, replace the X-men characters and this game would have been shred to pieces from us, the gamers.
