Please carnivore come back! I did not mean to offend nobody! I must have misunderstood your posts, as it can happen when you read and not talk to somebody...

Do you guys think South Africa can manage to go trough group A? in all the latest world cup all the host team did...

SA needs a miracle against France, plus another miracle with the other teams in the group needing to draw.

Tomorrow is gonna be a scorcher, South Korea vs Argentina, France vs Mexico, Nigeria vs Greece. :)

I know it will be very difficult, but I hope Mexico wins tomorrow. I still love France as a country:D

well no harm done, i just was kinda shocked at that moment... ;)

all i hope for tomorrow is that we see some good football with some ideas and some action. ;)

generally i would like to see south korea, mexiko and nigeria win, but i won't be upset or anything if it goes the other way.

what would interest me is what you guys think about the vuvuzelas. everybody i talked to either hated them or was indifferent about them. nobody seems to really like them around here...

Well I can´t personally say I like them, but they defiantly make a unique and distinctive African world cup, it was the same thing with tambourine in Korea/Japan..

One thing that does not make me like them is that you don´t hear the crowd cheering or boooing when stuff happen on the pitch.

well personally i pretty much hate them because those things are loud as a ******** there were times you could tell that players on the pitch didn't even here the referees whistle. i mean seriously? take it back a notch, would you? i don't think i could go through a game if i was in the stadium. i would probably go mad...

Don't really care for the Vuvuzelas... I learned to drown them out in the Confederations Cup.

Argentina mauled South Korea 4-1, even with the offside goal and SK own goal. Completely outclassed.

Lack of control over a noise source has been shown to increase its perceived annoyance. So your best bet might be to crack open another beer and try your best to enjoy the atmosphere

    HAHAHHAHAHA

I was scared of Argentina when I saw the final score, 4-1, but after watching the replays of the goals... it should have been 1-1, 2-1 at best. An own goal and two balls which the South Korean goalie could have DEFINITELY stopped (and one was offsides to boot), makes me think luck had a little bit to play in this, as it does in all games.

    Also, Greece just scored :(

    ...on another goalkeeper's error...
