I think I'm cursed... all the teams I root for are dropping like flies...

Time to cheer for Argentina, Spain and Netherlands, eh?

    :(

Most exciting end to any game I've seen.

Wow, most tense match of the tournament by far. I actually ended up rooting for Ghana simply because of their determination and their effort levels, especially from Gyan, who was IMO their best player. I feel sorry for him after the penalty miss (although his second one was brilliant, but the first will haunt him for a long time) and also the others who were so close.

I can't help but feel it's an injustice to football that Uruguay got through by cheating (the handball). Suarez gets banned for the next match, but if Uruguay somehow beat Holland, he gets to play in the final, and I think that's a bit unfair. I'll probably be rooting for Holland now, because I feel that Uruguay don't deserve to be there.

Well, since I'm biased, I feel Holland doesn't deserve to be there, and will thus cheer for Uruguay.

And to the guy who asked why I don't like the Germans, I said all the teams I want to win lose, so I will then chear for the teams I want to LOSE.

At this point, I would be ecstatic if Germany wins it all!

It's going to be hard for Uruguay to win without Suarez.

to anybody thinking that Suarez cheated... HE GOT EJECTED by the Ref. and gave Ghana a penalty, fair and square. Is not Uruguay's fault that he didn't know how to kick a ball under pressure.

Now, the hand that got France to qualify to the WC2010 against Ireland, THAT's cheating (Henry scored a gol with the hand and the ref. allowed the gol). Peace, and GO URUGUAY!!!!

If you look at it from Uruguay's perspective I think that Suarez is a savior! I just found out that it's a fact that less penalties are scored in extra-time than in regular play time(probably because of pressure, by handling the ball he actually helped Uruguay before the penalty was missed)

Lol no, they still have Forlan (top scorer of the World Cup) and Loco Abreu.

Forlan isn't the top-scorer... And the Forlan-Suarez combo has really been the reason why Uruguay have progressed this far.

Okay, so I lied when I said that. At least one of the two will have to be knocked out before the final, unfortunately.

Anyway, great start by Germany, they're outplaying Argentina in the first half.

Yeah, hopefully they didn't score too early like Brasil did and can keep playing aggressive.

The way Argentina's starting to play though... I think it'll be 1-1 sometime in the next 45 minutes.

    Arr! Henry should be shot.

When France lost my local shop had a 10% discount on all products with the tag; "France LOSE! 10% OFF!".
