I watched the replays, and no, they didn't outplay us. If they did, they would have scored more, yes? But they didn't, showing how superior our defence was. If Felipe Melo hadn't played, then the score would have been much differnet. However, we've got 5 stars on our shirts.
What I'm trying to say that past experience is nice and all but it doesn't really help at these games. *cough* Italy!
Then again, on the other hand, since you outplayed them in the first half, why didn't you score more against them? Kinda goes both ways. No offense, but I think your bias towards your teams is kinda overriding reason.
Yup, it does. But I didn't say that we outplayed them at all. It may be, but my points are extremely valid. I'm trying to prove that we aren't over hyped and still in the top three best of the world.
People over-hype them because they feel that winning 5 times before means that they will ALWAYS be the best. Teams come and go and to me this year's team was sub-par, compare it to the 2002 team that actually went all the way and tell me if you think that this team was a better squad.
i'm so glad brazil lost. they're always arrogant and over-confident. serves them right NETHERLAND FTW
lol, what's going on today? are we on bizarros day? Uruguay needs to control the ball like they were doing the first 25 minutes, otherwise, Ghana is going to make them suffer.
Jesus Christ what an ending. Suarez didn't score but his hand saved Uruguay. Uruguay deserved to win IMO, but Ghana was also excellent. Great game.
