The South Americans are doing extremely well, are they not? Looks like Europe's era of dominance has come to an end.
Too right. His form in the Qualifiers was absolutely amazing. 9 goals in 8 matches or something before being goalless for the final 3 matches.
What era??? Besides Germany who have the greatest form of any team in the last 10 years the sout American are always there. Brazil won in 2002.
Love how the official FIFA writeups for both games yesterday have absolutely NO mention of the bad refereeing. http://www.fifa.com/worldcup/news/newsid=1261491/index.html#england+mexico+haunted+anew http://www.fifa.com/worldcup/statistics/news/newsid=1261589/index.html#argentina+again+klose+keeps+scoring New: Sepp Blatter CNN video interview on technology in football: http://worldsport.blogs.cnn.com/2010/06/27/just-give-us-the-truth-allow-goalline-technology/
hey guys, nice to see you still all active here, I was away for a few days, and now all the team I chered for are out I think I´ll pick Ghana now, to support the only African Team left in the competition.
Did you guys here FIFA's response to the offside-Argentina Goal? Roughly, (according to SportsCenter) they said that showing the replay on the big screen was a mistake, because it might cause unrest in the crowd and in the pitch, so they will no longer show the replays. Way to FIX your mistakes FIFA, not hide them
It's the same with the Premier League; replays aren't allowed to be showed on screen at the stadium for the same reason. I agree, it's simply a way to hide their own failings.
BRRRRRAAAAAAAAAZZZZZZZIIIIIIIIIIILLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!! *ahem*. Yeah, so... we're going to win. I'm guessing 3-1.
Two teams full of free spirits who are raring to go at each other. I can't help but wonder how many cards there will be Still, it'll be an interesting match, now that I'm a neutral.
