Edit: cancel this. It turned out my quest log was full - something I had to guess. I have Icefang's Oath now, after deleting a junk quest. Thanks for the help! I thought I had, but it's not on my quest list. I just fought my way through Valemar's Keep again to talk to Gorak a second time. He offered me the quest, I accepted it and saw a 'quest accepted' message, but Icefang's Oath still doesn't show up in my list. I definitely have the overarching quest telling me to go to Shadowspire, so I'm not doing things out of sequence. Any ideas? Is it just bugged? Assuming it is - is there any way to get to Shadowspire without Icefang? Helga's Ring only lifts me a bit off the ground; I can't use it to fly up there, as far as I can tell.
You probably have the quest: travel to shadowspire. But you also need the quest icefangs oath. I think Darius will give you that quest. Btw there's no other way to go to shadowspire without icefangs help.
That cobalt armor does look pretty nice. Is it only for warriors? I wonder what the best armor is for those who -- as one shopkeeper put it -- don't have to be strong in order to wear it.
Oh gosh, I was trying to get it and I've probably been in and out of the lair 30 times already, got the best axes, cobalt gauntlets and a bunch of junk, this is hard work... Edit: Finally got it!
Would someone who thinks that has done all quests please post the number of his finished quests? I think I've done all (except where you must choose which you will finish), but I'm not sure. Thanks
Gave it almost 30 tries and didn't find any cobalt armor (or any other) at all... did find a Soulstealer axe, though, Power 182 + Drain Life and 4 Lion cloaks Could I be doing stg wrong?? Just found the Lion cloak so far, did anyone found the other 2? (tried on the Valemar as mentioned earlier, but didn't get any)
I have a sword called "Nightblade" -- 143 power, with Dazzle charges. Is the claw the one that has 6% ability? What does that mean, anyway?
Found the nightblade in the ice elemental lair. I think the 6% ability has something to do with critical.
I think I got carpal thumb from battling Sheba. After countless tries and way, way too much time spent on it, I finally beat Sheba. And I get: gloves with a one-point higher defense rating than what I already have; a bow that I already have; a congratulatory note. That treasure chest she is guarding? Completely empty. Oh, and no noticeable XP, either. AND.... how do I exit Sheba's lair and get back to the game? Argh.
