*(un)Official* Aralon help Thread

Has anyone figured out how to stop that guy from attacking who needs the three sapphires?

 

Urgh I'm in the 3rd floor of the desert temple and I'm so confused as to what I'm supposed to do... I've been running around the maze, finding nothing but locked gates.

Can someone give me some directions? :S

EDIT: nvm after a lot of exploring, I finally found the two obelisks

Cool? But...how do you use it? I have never seen my rogue parry. Am I missing something?

 

Help! My Mage's Henchmen is STUCK in that locked room in the Red Lion that I unlocked. I got the quest to kill someone, but my henchmen won't follow me out of the room! I wish I had gotten this quest and THEN bought the henchmen.

Anyone know how to get him to follow me? Otherwise, I will load the game before I entered the room and forget about getting that quest for now in the locked room upstairs in the Red Lion Inn.

 

Just get out of the inn. Sometimes they have trouble spawning at the entrance of areas; most notably in the spider queen's lair.

If he doesn't follow you out, chances are that he's dead.

Also, the game description mentioned 8 mount types. So far I've only encountered 4 horses, a wolf and a drake mount. What are the rest?

 

I did a parry by pressing block when an enemy attacks, but hack and slash is more efficient way than chancing for a parry..

 

So, has anyone successfully completed Og AND Ug's quests? Cos it seems impossible to me...

 

Pretty sure it's impossible, unless you can pickpocket the ring without being discovered.

There's a couple of similar quests, with Luther and Telmon. I just did the one that I found more rewarding; I killed Ug (I think) and retrieved the ring because the reward was better and killed Telmon because killing Luther makes me an outlaw, ironically.

 

I just killed the one with Helga's Ring.. The ring is great for the shortcuts in maps lol...

 

Fair enough. I just assumed you would be able to complete all the quests, if you were so inclined. As an elf ranger, I don't think I can pickpocket. I guess Ug is gonna meet his maker. Although, it only gives me the option to talk to him. Does that mean I need to use the link bar at the bottom to inflict a magic attack or something?

 

Yeah, you'd need to use an attack skill to go into combat mode with him. Ambush works.

Where do i get myself a superb health potion for the balm ?

 

where do you get the drake mount>?

 

you will need to complete the quest that gives the dragon sunclaw a balm first

 

An NPC in one of the huts in Karn village sells some.

Drake Island; Sunclaw takes you there as part of the main storyline.

 

soooo can anyone tell me how to get myself a superb health potion for the balm?

 

pls tell me the wolf mount.

I really can't find any switch on the third floor of the temple with the scepter. Where can I find a switch or so?

 

Wolf mount is in the witches cave, on of them drops it
