Yeah I have 7.8 gigs of other on my phone. It's an iPhone 4 32gig jailbroken. Just curious, that's about it.

iTunes doesn't recognize jailbroken apps/files, so it shows up in the "Other" category.

    lol I would restore it...
But just asking, what have you downloaded on that thing?? (If you even did)

Oh yeah, I forgot. It happened once to me too. It cloned all my stuff and then turned the clones into mush and put it into my iPod. I restored xD

7.8 gigs definitely isn't right, I only have .75gb of other and I'm JB'd too. I think the 'other' space is mostly a mystery tbh.

Is it possible apple is counting your apps/videos/music as other?

Haha k I'll figure it all out. I don't want to restore because it's a long boring process but I'll do whats necessary and most likely just restore, whenever I can.

Mine has 2.5 GB. Im just ignoring it for now until it literally becomes a problem I need to fix. Restoring is a pain in the ass.

I also have 10 gigs of apps alone, so no it isn't counting that stuff as other. Haha this sucks. Anyone think ifile could have done this or maybe downlite because if you to download something and it loses connection it will say 4092 mb downloaded, so do you think that might be it, just a bunch of nonsense stored on my phone?

Yes restoring is a major pain. I mean I have still have 11 gigs of free space so I'm not too concerned with restoring right now but I eventually will. I don't have the time anyway
