Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3

The name sounds cool.

 

I'm not really interested in this game, but I want to know what "Cause of Death" is. It sounds like it could be good.

 

Was wondering the same thing. Is it a new game or an old one being resurrected ?

 

I love Mortal Kombat but I don't know how well the onscreen buttons will work. Pulling off combos and fatalities can be hard enough with a regular controller. Either way, the more older games ported the better.

 

I googled it and couldn't find any info on it. I think it's probably a new game, so I'm curious to see what it's about.

edit - I did some more searching and I found this at the bottom of the NBA 11 description

"COMING SOON: CAUSE OF DEATH: Can You Stop The Killer?"

So it's obviously a detective/CSI type game.

I just hope it's fully 3D, maybe like L.A Noire, and not a point and click (although that would still be pretty good).

Anyways, seems like this is a remake with newer graphics. Really wish there would be konquest

 

I wonder how the graphics and gameplay compare to the old SF games.

 

Its hard to tell what the game looks like but i think it uses full 3d characters with 2d backgrounds, kind of like the current SF4, except characters in this game have more detail

 

Actually the characters in SF4 are 2D sprites that are cleverly designed to look 3D. I think the characters in this game will probably look similar.

 

Isn't this the same remake from the DS version?

 

If they simplify everything to one button presses, especially for the fatalities then I'm sold. I have long gone past the faze in my life where I enjoyed looking at game faqs. It's why I didn't like MK2 and MK3 much when they hit the ps3 and 360.
