    Hi,

I've read this article: why-games-that-make-you-a-developer-are-a-crucial-part-of-the-future and I'm surprised.

I'm thinking about UGC as something like "must have" or at least "nice to have" in the next project... but maybe I'm wrong (not the first time!)

Guys, are you working on something that can be called as UGC in your current projects?

Or maybe there is someone who has already done this - could you share some "results"?

I wish to do a game with UGC for few years, but I never had the opportunity.
I'm thinking of some concept for my next game.

I think that if you're able to make a level editor good enough for everybody, it will also be good for your development team. It will at least push you to make level building simple.

    Cons:
    - You need a backend (server) most of the time.
    - Moderation of UGC is a problem. If they create something based on an IP (batman, lego etc..), or something offensive, you should be able to detect it and suppress it.

    Pros:
    - Free extension.
    - A game inside the game
    - You build a community.
