Actually I read an article of a helicopter pilot being partially blinded while wearing some kind of (night?) vision headgear by someone on the ground focusing a radar pointer at him. Probably the laser was magnified of sorts to do this to him through the vision headgear but they still can be dangerous in this respect.
Dude I completely agree. I don't give a shit if it's fake or not, I don't dismiss the probably of other life in the universe, but I also don't think everyone of these videos are true. This one though, true or not, is pretty convincing. And either way, it was cool to see. *Shrugs*
...are you saying the law regarding lasers is pointless just because you can't blind pilots? They're in a particularly grey area here too, but for more obvious reasons like being used to shine into a goalkeepers eyes at a football (soccer) match or the eyes of people driving cars.
The only delusion you're having is the one about how this conversation is going. People have come up with ideas and suggestions for what it might be... did you really not expect that to happen? Did you want us all to instantly cave in and decide this one absolutely must be extra terrestrial life? The shots in that video can be faked within minutes these days and you expect us to open our minds? We're not even debating the existence of aliens (quite possible, Earth visits somewhat improbable), just the validity of that situation. This topic is going well all things considered.
If you don't know why people would want to fake these things, you don't know people, period. That "third view" video has indeed been proven to be a still image with effects added afterwards. Another theory is the videos are viral marketing for the upcoming movie Battle: Los Angeles. And there's this: Huge electricity generators donated by the government of Jordan were brought into the Temple Mount Tuesday. A group led by Likud's Moshe Feiglin documented the entry of the generators into the Mount. Sources in the Jerusalem Municipality's Supervision Department told the Temple Heritage Fund that the municipality had not given permission to bring in the generators and that they were informed of the matter by Avi Roif, Commander of the Old City Police. The municipality sources were said to be outraged at Roif for allowing the generators' entry despite his not not being authorized to do so. http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/141937
I think the aliens came to take kijib home.... Seriously though, I believe aliens exist, but I'm just going to treat every reported UFO sighting as a hoax, unless of course one lands and the aliens walk out to say hello or to kill us.
No! I refuse to accept any evidence that this is a hoax! I want the aliens to give me superpowers dammit!
ya watched that too, however if it was a static image a picture there wouldnt be cars driving by that you can see clear as day... if it was a photo they would not be moving...
whats interesting about this, its kind of convenient a story like this comes up around the time of the video, how do you know if that story is indeed real or not just one of many of the government cover ups to make you think the video is another hoax. its easy to say oh its just CGI yada yada. not saying it is real or fake but its pretty interesting all of it, all these random its hoax vids coming up, how do we know who made it ya its some youtube user but are they really working with the government or just someone like us who has to prove its fake to shoot down the believers out there... no one will ever know...
The story was posted before the sightings. It's a national news website too, I'm sure they've posted some crap in their time but going to the effort of backdating false news and all of it's comments isn't as likely if you ask me.
So three people just happened to be filming the same thing at the same time at three different parts of the city, and then somehow found each other and made this video without telling anyone other than online?
The military put out an official press release that appeared in newspapers the day after the Roswell, New Mexico crash, back in 1947, saying that a UFO had been recovered from the crash site. The next day, they retracted their statement, insisting that it had been a weather balloon instead. It's believed that the UFO was taken to Hangar 18 at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, in Ohio, and that some of the aliens had survived the crash. The spreading of misinformation/disinformation is all part of the deal, if you believe in government conspiracies and cover-ups.
They were posted as three different videos, I believe, on YouTube. They were then compiled to one short clip.
