How about adding an in-app purchase to the Lite version and let Apple do what they want with the other one Just an idea if they keep blocking you.
The idea has crossed our minds.. However, there is a good chance that the next update to the Lite will also be rejected, and can possibly trigger removal of the app from the store. This is why we are not submitting a fix for the story-mode buttons problem...
Damn, what a pain. Hopefully things will work out for you guys eventually. Thanks for Powermanga btw, you guys are good at picking good classics! Maybe this doesn't fit your style entirely, but please consider porting over One-Nill Soccer Manager/Goal made by Wizard Games of Scotland. The solid and unique gameplay still hold up in the world of today
Hi there, Just wondering what the current status of the project is. Have you been able to get a hold of Jason Emery, or has a resolution to this issue been found? When might we expect another attempted update to be submitted to apple for review\approval? Thanks, John
R-type is about to get here, but I didn't forget about this other wonderful shmup. Nothing would make me more happy than seeing Tyrian accepted as a universal app. Well, meanwhile going back to play the lite version....
I would expect this will be a several month to a year evolution. It will be nice if this gets resolved quickly, but I would not expect so.
still, any kind of update (whatever it may be) mobilainteractive can provide to its fans would be greatly appreciated.
Yet another update in queue for review... Keep your fingers crossed.. We do have a good feeling about this one...
I am crossing my fingers but not holding my breath. If i did i'd probably been dead since the start of the whole Apple screwing Mobile Intereactive by rejecting the Tyrian update.
I am really hopeful like everyone else. It's really a shame what has happened. The idea of not being able to play Tyrian on my iPod Touch is one of the biggest things keeping me from upgrading to 4.x. It's absolutely one of my favorites. If this and Puzzle Quest start working and Apple fixes all the kinks with 2nd gen hardware lagging under 4.x iOS then I won't have any more reason not to upgrade.
