Working on the Strawberry pack and letters are bluing out with words left unfound. Does this mean the blued letters are no longer needed or that I violated some other principle of the game?
TypeShift (By Zach Gage) - IOS/Android Gameplay Well, I have played more word guessing game and i will give this one a 5 star rating. Sometimes you wont be able to guess 2-3 words or you just need to do a trial and error to create a word. You can check out my quick gameplay here Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel
I noticed today's daily puzzle was really easy for me and yesterday's wasn't. Are you correlating certain difficulties with certain days of the week?
yep! the easiest is on Monday and the hardest is Sunday. Today's was extra extra easy due to a bug where very rarely puzzles start with a word in the center.. which has been fixed, but not in time for today thanks everyone for the kind words! I'm so glad you're enjoying the game!
Any chance it will see some optimization for older devices? The game is great, but borderline unplayable for me.
I've been offline for a few days and won't get to play this until later today. Can't wait, though--every new Zach Gage game is a reason to celebrate.
Yes, this is something I'm going to look into for the next update. I'm not quite sure what is going on, but I was pretty crunched to put this game out so I didn't have time pre-launch to do all the testing on old devices.
i cannot believe my favourite game this year so far is a word game. It's an absolute belter. My youngest loves it too (although his iPad2 is a wee bit laggy with it). great stuff, Zach.
There are indeed a few non-words here and there, but for the most part the words that don't show up in the dictionary look-up tend to be differences between how the web-site version of the dictionary handles tenses and pluralization. So for example, Muley -> https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/muley is a word, and Muleys would be the plural, but the dictionary on the web is missing the plural form
For anyone wondering, although that definition only lists muley as an adjective, other dictionaries do list "muley" as a noun (meaning cow). The M-W web dictionary is missing the noun definition, so won't accept the plural.
