I think he means apps like SimplyTweet which don't rely on Boxcar. Different apps have different ways of fetching data for the push notifications, and can have different "response times" as a result. Boxcar also get quite bogged down at peak hours on occasion.
Does anyone know how to get rid of those annoying "top tweets" that invade your timeline and bugger with updating? Those ones.
I was so excited to have this update but it really disappointed me , it is not at all that what I think about it. The icon looks so weird. I really think why I did this updation.
Tweeataholic is the truth. Only $0.99. Lots of features in the 1.0 version. Tweet and link to songs playing in the iPod app. Crazy UI. And custom blacklist, so you dont see any keywords, trending topics, or particular users in your timeline. I talked with the people, and they already got a new version pending approval to correct bugs, crashes, and local versions for different countries. They got themes and all that coming as well....
Check your settings on twitter (the actual site) I've never ever seen that on any of my twitter clients or the actual site
