So I'm only on level six so far, but this game is really fun! Very inventive! But whatdo I do with all this money I'm earning?
Arkadium: does the "City Limits" achievement require 3 starring all the city levels? If not, that achievement is broken. Also, "Auto Turn" is the product of a sick mind! ;-)
The City Limits achievement is just for passing all the city levels. There's a separate achievement for 3-starring every level in the game! And I'll tell our game designers exactly what you said about Auto Turn, I'm sure they will be sadistically pleased to hear it!
Thanks, glad you're enjoying it! The money is just for your score. Fulfilling requests faster will earn more money, and earn you more stars for that level.
Thanks, I'll give the team a heads-up! In other news, we were able to update the game this morning and fix the language problem that was causing some loading issues. This means that Twisty Hollow should now be available to download worldwide!
Just bought this game this morning. It's a clever game and a lot of fun. great graphics and animations. Good job guys!
Game Impressions It´s an amazing game because of it´s stunning design and it´s innovative gameplay. But have a look at your own: Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel
I love the visual style, but I have to admit - the gameplay isn't interesting to me. The main challenge of the game is being rushed, which just doesn't appeal to me. It reminds me of games like Skullduggery in the way it looks awesome, I recognize the love put into it, others seem to enjoy it, but neither game is that fun to me because, again, I just don't find being rushed to be a fun gameplay mechanic. I guess I hoped it was more of a game where I had to figure out where things went, match them, and manage resources. Instead, it's painfully obvious how to "solve" each level it's just you're hurried to do it. Meh. The arts great at least. 3/5
Looks good, definitely on my wish list (for now) still lots of other stuff on my list I want to check out first. Nice that the devs are on here, good luck with the game and I hope it does well for you.
This game, like many others, may have got lost in the crowd and deserved more attention. Pocket Gamer agrees: http://www.pocketgamer.co.uk/r/iPad/Twisty+Hollow/review.asp?c=62496
