This is what I did that seemed to save it fine: 1) Hit Play Offline. 2) Create game. 3) Start game. 4) After game is done starting up, hit the Home/Pause button in the upper right. 5) Choose Exit game. 6) Once back to the Main Menu hard quit out of game. 7) Restart the game. 8) Hit Play Offline. 9) Save is waiting for me.
I see, I am just too spoiled by Ascension...I lose a 13-point lead game against Soviet AI because I do not exit properly!

Doh, just my luck I'd miss the update explaining how the update was free to KS backers. I just purchased it on iOS as soon as I heard it released, hopefully I can still get Steam free.
i know it doesn't apply to an iPhone but the game was released on android. On Google play store they haven't restricted purchases to tablets only. I have been playing on a Galaxy S7 and while no changes have been made to the UI I find the game playable on the smaller screen. That said, I know the general text of all the cards, someone who never played would probably not like learning the game on such a small screen in the games current state.
Won a game at the end of the latest MID-WAR turn due to the fact that the AI forgot to play a scoring card. I thought this was fixed???
