Absolutely HATE 'Twilight'. My girlfriend talked me into going with her to see the first one when it came out. She said it was about vampires and I, rather stupidly, assumed it was going to be along the lines of Dracula (didn't know anything about the film/books at the time). Little did I know I was about to subject myself to what was basically a Dawsons Creek halloween special. I'm not just saying this to back up other people here but I genuinely don't know any other guys who like it, and yet most of the girls I know are so borderline obsessed that it's kind of disturbing. I have no intentions of sitting through New Moon. If you like it fair enough, people are different. Personally, I think another over hyped pile of nonsense... seriously, vampires that sparkle?

Okay so my friend saw the movie and was not a fan at ALL. However she LOVED the books. I had a bad feeling the movie would be cheesy. On another note, after all the criticism Twilight has received from members here, look how many views.....
Seriously, labeling everyone that dislikes this turd of a franchise "insecure" is pretty weak. If anyone's got problems it's the people obsessed with it.
I never labelled everyone... It's the comments that insult those that may enjoy Twilight that I was referring to... To say that someone who enjoys Twilight has something wrong with them, makes about as much sense as saying someone who plays video games has something wrong with them... or any other interest for that matter...
