Lol. Ask me anything.. I have read all the books, including the unfinished one. I wouldn't say I am a die hard fan of the Twilight books, or Edward and Jacob. The movie is just too good, I really like them.. The movie had me reading the books. $140.7 million weekend. I'm predicting $250+ to $370 million range at the end of it's run
If I admitted to reading Twilight, I'd be immediately labeled as a bunch of things that would be the social death of me. Making fun of the girls isn't that great of an idea, either. It makes us look like immature idiots... which we are, but desperately try to hide.
Jack turns into a lion. Jacob turns into a wolf. Jack kills Jacob in the end. Now you have something to talk about.
That's very true although I bet in some towns, there is one kid who is secure in himself and don't give a toss what others say. I raise my glass and salute those boys whomever they may be
but we dont make fun of girls do we no seriously I try not to unless its impossible not to. I mean before high school they're all ugly as hell then they put some makeup on and WOW.
Would that be me? None of my buddies care, and they hate the books. They never made fun of me, it's actually the girl friends that makes fun of me; the one's who hates it too, including my GF. List for my favorite movies of the year ('09) 1. District 9 2. New Moon 3. Star Trek 4. He's Just Not That Into You 5. Transformers 2 ?. Avatar @da shiz wiz 19 of course there's no Jack. There are no werewolves either, only shape shifters.
@da shiz wiz 19 of course there's no Jack. There are no werewolves either, only shape shifters.
chicks are cruel man
Okay, You friend does not know what he/she is talking about bc in "New Moon" Jacob is a WOLF. Yes, I was joking about Jack bc you mentioned you were going to talk about Jack. Giving ya a little piece of your medicine bc you said you could BS out of anything. You don't find out the technical name of what everyone is until the last book. But as far as you are concerned Jacob is a wolf NOT wearwolf a wolf. You can see it on the trailer. Good luck today chicks are cruel man

haha i do BS everything. I talked to my girl friends about it (as in friends that are girls) and they were like bull**** you read the book, because once I accidentally said jack instead of jacob. I attribute it to that fact they werent crazy over the book. I just kinda went on about how jacob is way better in this book and the girl in the book should go out with him instead of cullen. BUT then I said jack was a wolf and ruined it.
Yes there are no werewolves because they are almost extinct or something. Aro hating them in the book's explanation, even though they are wolves they are in actuality a shapeshifter. I'm pretty sure I am correct in this part. So... We're both correct.
Movie was a bit boring IMO. Saw it today with my gf and even she was bored and she loves the books. Though I guess she was expecting this one to be a bit...I don't know...boring/slower than the others? She said she's not really looking forward to eclipse that much, but that breaking dawn should be a good movie. Anywhoo, movie bored the hell out of me, but Kristen makes it bearable
I just couldn't take the first one seriously. When the vampires were about to fight, they all circled each other hissing like idiots. It was pretty damn amusing. And the baseball scene that had Supermassive Black hole in the background ruined the song. Now whenever girls hear it, they say "Omg it's that song from Twilight!" =/
Me too... Oh my god... I went to see it last night. I lost a bet. I was practically falling asleep in my seat until the action started. The movie pretty much turned around from there... Lmao, the first half of the movie was all romance.
Oh yes you are correct about the shapeshifter part. However, that is not in the movie bc you don't find out the exact terminology until the very end of the last book. Just like in the True Blood Sookie Stackhouse series (Incredible series and completely different than the show. Only the first two books of 9 are similar) the shifters are revealed. Slipping up and saying Jack is no big deal bc after all his name is Jacob. A good BSer could talk their way out of that one. The bottom line is that unless you read the books anyone would think you were lying unless you gave told them some detailed part of the book or let them ask you any question. It's nice to know there are guys out there who read them. I am looking forward to seeing the movie but know it won't be close to how good the book is. In fact it may be a little cheesy. Oh well....Yes there are no werewolves because they are almost extinct or something. Aro hating them in the book's explanation, even though they are wolves they are in actuality a shapeshifter. I'm pretty sure I am correct in this part. So... We're both correct.
