It didn't gross the most money besides Harry Potter for nothing. And it certainly was not all teeny boppers. I read the books and they were terrific. I dont know how many teeny boppers could read a novel that size. Therefore adults and pple of all ages gravitate towards Twilight. The movies are never as good as the books.

Try the Sookie Stackhouse series. It's addictive and very different from True Blood. The 1st and 2nd books are similar but after that it's completely different.

IMO anyone guy/female who clicks on this thread to read and/or post must have some sort of interest. And I doubt it was to get a laugh unless you really have nothing better to do. It's okay. Everyone understands if you are not able to man up or girl up to the fact you enjoy or find Twilight amusing. Put it this way, if I saw a thread about bowling I would skim right past it not bothering to even read the comments. The bottom line is we have a lot of twihards in denial here. lmao

And how old are you? I have yet to see a "lady" go crazy over a "man" due to reading the Twilight series. ltmq Then again, I am SURE we hang out in different circles. BTW When they start asking you about various parts of the storyline how do you answer unless you actually READ the books?

Im 15, and in my english class they sure as hell do. Are you trying to imply something with the bolded section? If they start asking about the story lines I just make up some bull (years of practice) and talk about edward cullen.

I didn't bold anything. How do you have time to discuss Twilight in class? No offense but no matter how good a BSer you are, there is no way you can BS a Twihard. lol And talking about Edward won't cut it. Try it tomorrow and let me know how it goes. I'm actually curious. :)

*high five to Claridosa* lol :p ;)

We are obviously a lot older than these kids Clari, but actually I think I may know what he means. Some teen girls who are hardcore into Twilight prob get excited that a guy might be into it cuz it might feed their "Edward Cullen" or "Jacob" fantasy. Is that his name that kid?

Anyway, I would like to know how you answer the girls when they start getting all detailed about the books?

No we didnt have time in class, but I usually blow it off anyways so I find time. I am an extrodinary BSer, tommorrow I have a speech worth a 100 pts and im on TA instead of studying. I've realized that the more complicated you make your speech the more people zone out, hydrogen fuel cells is the perfect topic ;)
Yeah edward doesnt ALWAYS cut it, so I heard about this new jack guy (a bunch of girls were talking about how hot he is now) and now I talk about him too!
Ill try it out tommorrow lol

Could be. As a teacher, I would be willing to bet 5K that not a single male student of mine would admit to reading the series unless they wanted to get their ass kicked after school. lol Guys that age are very self conscious. God forbid they admitted to reading Twilight. They spend too much time making fun of the girls. ;)
