That is great to hear. I would feel bad if you shelled out $300 based on my complaint. Good luck with your ankle.

I wondered about this as well, and sure enough, there's a toggle to turn on/off either "Ollie Tilt Controls" or "Ramp Tilt Controls" under Options. But also timing is key. If you ollie early on a ramp you will fly forward, but if you wait until you're higher up you'll almost never fly forward.

Yeah I understand this, but the new system is actually quite nice in terms of keeping tricks realistic.. I don't want to blast tre flips 10ft over coping in order to land in the ramp again, I would prefer if I could pop smaller/lower and still stay in the ramo

I'm not sure it would work to force an ollie to lock into the ramp, because it would make popping onto a grind hard. Maybe we could make an option to stay in by default, and make you have to lean forward to jump out. Or perhaps just a sensitivity option is what is needed.

I scored a KO on a mini ramp once in real life after pulling around 6 foot air on inline skates. I can't really remember what happened, but it is a pretty safe bet that both my feet hung up on the top of the ramp on the way down.

I remember waking up feeling nice and comfortable lying on the warm ramp and getting annoyed at people waking me up by asking me "Is your face OK?" Lucky I had a helmet on.

I don't think I ever went for big air on a mini ramp again after that.

Tweak manuals please. They are currently the hardest thing in the game to do. Which seems rediculous seeing as i can flip into nose blunts at will. It would add a whole new dimension to the game.

I think we have already had enough feedback about manuals that we want to tweaking. However, updates will be coming a little slowly for a while until we are closer to finishing JCS2.

Just got into this game and loving it

Some awesome additions would be a nighttime park, more tricks, and I dunno if you guys have thought of it but adding multiplayer with one other person would be amazing!

My bro and I are getting pretty hooked on this and we were talking about how funny and cool it would be to play together and see each others skateboard floating around.

Maybe Game Center with a friend or Bluetooth. I know not every game has to have multiplayer and some are better without but just thought it would be real cool

Whoa. That's the first I've ever heard of a multiplayer mode. That would actually be pretty cool. Although my vote would go toward a turn-based game of S.K.A.T.E. (preferably where you have to call your tricks first to weed out the randomness). Having live multiplayer seems like it might be a bit more complicated to implement. I'd love to see it though. It would be great if one player could take control of the camera and actually film the other's tricks.

Online S.K.A.T.E. mode would be awesome, I agree you'd have to name the trick first so you didn't just flick like a fool and go for something insane.

Yeah! That's what i'd like to see since Day 1! Just gives us a simple pass and Play "game of skate"(what shoudnt be to hard) and than perhaps an online version to take the holy grail! I think this would take this gem of a game to the next Level. Looking forward to it and every new park, which will be a Day-One-purchase for Sure!!! I' m playing this everyvday in the rendering-times, couldn't live without it!! How about a short title-track-loop, just to build up some atmosphere, while starting up the game?

Regardless, this is my favorite game since a few years!!!

We actually currently have a challenge mode that is using our own server which is some what working. However, we still have a lot of work to do in getting the server code ready for release. It will need a lot of testing and optimizing.

We are using the same server code for Jet Car Stunts 2 as well.

We also need to make the challenge mode work a bit better. Adding a game of S.K.A.T.E is something we have considered, but we would have to make it work in a way that doesn't let people do random tricks that have to be matched. Either calling a trick, or just beating a score might work, or maybe we could have a few options and see which work best.

Please please please make it be calling a trick! I hate when people call top score modes SKATE. It's so much more fun and skill based when you have to actually try to do something you intended on doing.

I would have to agree. Most people who are like me turned off trick scores as soon as we had the option to. But yeah. For it to work properly with calling the trick beforehand the trick names in the game would have to be 100% correct. Otherwise it would lead to you landing the exact trick you called, but the game registering it as a miss. And, last I checked, the trick names needed some work. It still has nollie tricks reversed. The default stance is regular. When you swipe to the left it's a kickflip. Right for heelflip. But if you nollie and swipe left it registers as a nollie heelfip. And vice versa. It also registers a nollie noseslide as a nollie tailslide and vice versa. I would really really love to see it happen though.

Yeah this is exactly correct. The names need to be fixed, but even a turn based SKATE mode would be amazing at that point. You could have multiple games going at once vs random or matched opponents via Game Center!

The |> hud item is to toggle auto slow motion on or off.

If it's greyed out, it's turned off, if it's white like the other buttons then slow motion is on.
The automatic slow motion feature requires you to either purchase slow motion time using True Credits or you can buy the IAP to make it unlimited.
If you can't turn it on, you probably need to buy some more time from the store.
