It would be odd in a real life situation, I'm just a little frustrated that using custom grip tape in the game never looks good for me.
What do you guys think of the slowmotion feature? Also, any especially cool places to do tricks? Anyone gotten past the invisible walls? If you make a new park Luke, please include a long downward ramp to gain speed and an attached high ramp attached to do major tricks. Oh, and please never fix the bug on the new skate park (you must know the one).
Hint: It begins on the halfpipe and works its way up...up...up. It's on youtube. Do you have the new park?
Lol yeah I have the new map, I just check YouTube and saw what you were talking about. I've never really skated the halpipe I'm more into the grinds but that's some funny stuff.
I just like doing grinds on pretty much any of the flat rails in either park. There's no one place I go, I just skate about the whole place, it's all cool.
What kind of content updates can we expect Luke? Not including missions, tricks, etc. Kinda thinking parks, boards, extra-gravity, anti-gravity, and other mechanics/customizations.
Played tons of this game but I just tried slow motion for the first time, only got 10 seconds of it but I think I'm gonna buy the IAP, it was pretty cool.
Did you wait for it to load? Try restoring the inapp. Oh, and the purchase of the new park is very...secure. If you don't honestly buy the app and inapp, there is no way whatsoever that it will work. Don't ask how I know.
Bought the slo mo, not sure if I'll use it that often, but it's nice to have for fooling around. If you can set it to be always-on that might be cool for grinds, I haven't checked if that's possible.
Doesn't quite work like that. You can have it to "auto on", so it will slow mo once you leave the ground. However, if you leave your finger on the board to land or grind, the slow mo will turn off again.
Well that's disappointing, it'd be nice if slo mo was more usable when it comes to grinds but I guess it's still a cool feature I will enable from time to time.
Same here, I bought it just to see what it was like. I prefer the game in normal speed but the Slow mo is cool to mess around with.
There are two glitches that might cause a problem with the new park. 1) The park gets stuck on the loading screen. I've had a lot of reports that this can be fixed by simply, starting True Skate, then going to the store, then pressing restore. (Don't press it multiple times, because that could potentially cause another issue) Then wait in the store, and watch the purchase until it fully downloads. Then go to the Skate Parks menu and try to play the level. If it fails, then try again. 2) Some people have had troubles with purchases getting stuck on verifying. It sounds like this can sometimes be fixed by restarting your phone, then going back into the game, and hitting the restore button in the store. (Only hit it once) If anybody else knows any ways to work around these issues, andy advice would be appreciated. Either way, hopefully these issues will be fixed in the next update. Not sure yet. There will probably be a bit of a delay before the next skate park, but after that we hope to release a bunch in succession. We have a few other things in the works, but don't want to announce anything until we are sure what it will be. The next update will probably be mostly bug fixes.
Luke, will the new parks be already included in the game, but unlocked with the inap (or free?) instead of needing to bee downloaded?
