The add your own graphic ability is a nice touch. This update is going to rule. It's pretty mind blowing that a team of one or two guys can make a game this badass.
Yes it will. Along with the ability to turn off trick names and bluntslides are now able to lock into ledges and coping. The new skate park will be an in-app-purchase.
How long does it normally take for Apple to approve an update? Because I'm taking a trip to Grand Canaria on monday night...
It is a bit random by my experience. It can take a couple weeks, but occasionally can be a day or 2. More often it takes over a week. It is still waiting for review.
The True Skate update status is "Ready for Sale" on the app store now. I don't know how long it will take to be visible on the app store for everybody.

Some people are reporting some issues downloading or purchasing. Hopefully nothing serious! We tested on so many devices! Edit: seems like some of the issues are resolving the selves. Maybe just normal appstore crazyness.
I bought the skatepark, but I can't download it. EDIT: Got it now. But the infinite height jump is impossible now! Drat!
Be helpful to know what iOS version, and exactly what happened when you tried to download. Some people have had problems, then it started working for them, but they haven't told me what they did. Maybe shutting down the app and trying again, Maybe deleting and reinstalling, maybe restarting your phone. Maybe retrying until it works. I don't know.
The download worked fine for me, there was the usual 3-5 second lag between typing my password and the download pop up, but that's just the App Store.
Cool, got the update and will buy the skatepark. I was wondering if icloud works for anyone, I have never had it work between my iphone and ipad. There has never been True Skate save data in my cloud storage. I read that this game supports icloud but I don't see an option in settings so maybe it was taken out before I bought the game a month ago? Also, please make the "set session marker" option easier to access and not buried 2 or 3 menus deep. That's my biggest complaint about the game, other than that I love it and play it every day, just foolin around and trying to pull off grinds.
We already made a secret way to do that in the latest update. (It isn't that secret, it is in the update description) Just hold your finger down on the reset button until a menu comes up.
The update notes say that you can hold the reset button to get to the session marker menu quicker. This is one of the few iCloud games that has always worked flawlessly for me...
Thanks man, you're the best. Could you please confirm whether this game supports icloud, cause it has never worked for me. I saw in a different Toucharcade thread that you said it does have support. I'm gonna go buy the new skatepark now, been looking forward to that for weeks!
That's surprising to hear. Does the save file show up in your icloud storage? I read that some games don't show up there but still work. For me it doesn't show up, or work. For the record, I was able to successfully purchase, download, and enter the new park. No problems.
