Tail/Nose grinds or slides? I think the grind detection can be a little picky, but slides I can pull off with little to no trouble at all, it's all about judging the right distance and riding parallel to the rail.
Having the same issues on my ipad mini as well.. My first gen ran it much smoother. I'm hoping to see an update soon!!!
We will need to do an update for that, not sure how quickly we can do it since we are on the middle of other stuff, and I am actually away on a long weekend right now. The game will be running with quality at full, but we need to change it to medium.
WHOA! Been only playing this on my iPod Touch 4th Gen and it runs silky smooth, no drops in framerate whatsoever. Today I tried it out on my iPad 2 and it runs AWFULLY! Terrible framerate, and tons of input lag from swipes due to this. Why is it running so badly on a device 7x as powerful?
What game are you talking about? Sounds like you posted ont he wrong thread. There may be an issue on the iPad 2.4 with the new manufacturing process. True Skate runs much better on our iPad 2 then an iPod Touch 4th Gen, with higher quality shaders, but I've heard reports of the newer iPad 2 having troubles. Still looking into this, but possibly it either isn't as powerful, or it is being misdetected, and we have our shader quality set to full, instead of medium which is needed for the iPad 2. Also, is anybody having any starting issues with the new update?
Anyone having trouble doing the Ollie impossible challenge? I can't for the life of me get the board to do the trick using the motions shown on screen.
I said something about this a few pages back. To do it you have to keep your finger on the screen. One continuous motion down for the ollie then up for the impossible. Hope this helps.
If you ollie and swipe down just as you hit the ground you can do a manual. You can still turn, but the controls are inverted.
You are awarded a 180 or 360 when you do the same action as a pop shove-it, on a transition where you start going up, and land coming down.
