I think the control is perfect. One thing to add would be more rails. And maybe some coins or something to collect in hard to reach places...

This game needs the ability to do combos like Tony Hawk's Pro Skater. Please include this as well as the ability to manual and go off vert ramps in the next update.

I think manual refinements are planned. Luke said he didn't want to be able to land straight into a manual as it's unrealistic but they could be used in combos with a short timer. Mind you, it's totally possible to flip into and out of manuals, so I guess he meant from big air or something?

Now now, the point of this game is realism, let us not forget that.

Here's another quick video I made. Worked on getting some lip tricks to work in the bowl. And some blunt tricks on ledges. Blunts don't lock in on ledges yet so they're a bit tricky. There are a couple sketched out wallie tricks. I swear I must have tried the wallie noseslide for an hour straight and that's the best I could come up with. Oh well. Maybe I'll get it proper someday.

Dang, that one try when you got like ten feet off of the lip of the bowl, that was nuts.

    You're my hero;)

Some of those things those vert tricks must have taken so many attempts.

It would be good if we improved those blunt slide on ledges. I'm surprised you can do them that well. I only actually put int blunt slide detection at the last minute when I realized the physics system could pretty much already handle them.

Better if a character was playable.

The environments look good, but it would be better if you could create a playable character instead of just using your fingers.

I've gotten into one, but I don't think it looks as good as a traditional darkslide

After watching the awesome vids popping up, I'm just feeling that I can't easily achieve that sort of speed on my iPad :/ Sometimes even if I swipe a heap, I hardly accelerate, whereas going down a hill can give a nice boost, but still isn't consistent.

Is it just me, or does this seem like the worst suggestion for true skate?

I would think you should be able to get the same speed on both devices, unless something has gone a bit wrong I don't know about.

There was a time before release where you could go faster on iPad.

Just stopped by to let Trueaxis know that, while drunk at a bar last night (yeah, it was monday, gotta problem wit dat?) I bought this game. Whoever thought putting wifi in bars was a good idea should be ashamed of themself. jk, it was less than the price of a beer, and I must have really wanted this game, since drinkin doesn't make you do things you don't want to do anyways; it just removes the layer of inhibition.

Just wanted to add that this is a tricky game to play while intoxicated. It's a good way to ignore the floozy broad sitting next to you though.

Yeah...that suggestion would completely annihilate the whole point of this game. Though being able to apply a .gif to the board could result in hilarity :)

I am currently submitting a new update to address the issue some people where having when the game was loading. I think we where doing exactly as the Apple iOS documentation advice, however, it was bad advice. The game would just stall while waiting for Game Center to either connect or give an error, which would sometimes take a very long time.

There will also be 4 new small missions to explain some more tricks, the rewind button is changed to only accept direct presses, and an issue with the board tilting incorrectly when going backwards on a transition is fixed.

Awesome Game. Didn't really expect liking it this much coz I have zero interest in skating (both real world and games). Thank you true axis for making it :)
