Cool, I mostly assumed it would be impossible to grind that rail from there, so I never got around to trying it my self.
This games not for everyone. Its more like a sim I played for about 10 min and didnt really like it.. Just kind of boring.
It is true, it depends on who you are. I honestly think that anyone that likes skateboarding at all will get lost in a game like this. I am always playing it.
Yeah, I've been playing the balls out of this for like 4 days straight and still loving it. To each his own I suppose!
I'm no skateboarder, but I've still enjoyed learning the moves and exploring the possibilities in the park. Love it.
The first post with all the possible tricks doesn't list Backside 360, but it's listed in my trick book. Also, Frontside 360 seems to register as Backside, making it currently impossible to perform. Unless I'm missing something.
I played it some more and dont hate it as much. This is one of those games that actually plays better on the small screen. It's a pretty good time waster too bad you cant do grabs or hand plants.
I'm scared to try it out on a small screen in case I lose all my skills, especially in the Nollie department Also I was thinking, is there much point in having a load of grabs? The most visual aspect of any grab is the skater himself (or herself) and there isn't one. Most of them are gonna look pretty similar, the only thing that would really switch it up is flipping the board over. I'll be interested to see what True Axis does with this if they decide to implement any.
Your right, there was a bug in the code for Frontside 360 exactly as you said. I think I did see a Backside 360 in the list though. Make sure you check the list at the bottom of the post and not the one in the app description of course. I just fixed the bug ready for the next update.
Loving this game. Few suggestions: I think it would be cool to have a 2 finger/hard mode where you are only rewarded for landing tricks if both fingers are on the board when you land. I initially started playing this with one finger but then decided to really try and use my fingers like little legs and it is oddly satisfying to pull off a trick and stomp it out clean with both fingers on the deck. Also, more control over board rotation while in the air. 2 fingers down should allow free control the board. This would make grinding much easier. And of course Instant replay and the ability to save/share fav clips. Just some thoughts. Really enjoying the game regardless though. Thanks True Axis.

Chose this as my GotW without hesitation. Well... just a little hesitation. Zombies is a great game with a great soundtrack.
I'm sure a lot of things have already been covered but here are a few observations: -needs goofy as an option in settings -how do you determine a 180 as opposed to a shove it as your body cannot actually rotate with the board -rail slide isn't the name of a trick. I assume you mean lip slide? -needs better control in the air -longer rails would be nice -the bowl is a void that I steer clear of as transition skating is pointless in this game currently -the missions feel pretty pointless and I really dislike the follow me ones -easier way to flip over board -ability to set your own reset point
I'm not sure why people are asking for more board control in the air. Most of the rotation in skaeboarding is done in the ollie and the game emulates that very well. There aren't any tricks that are annoyingly difficult to pull off, so where's the problem? Do people just need more practise or what? Too much control is gonna start to kill the realism.
