bought tropico for ipad when it first came out, but new update not showing up on iphone, telling me i have to buy it again if i want it on my xs

 

same here..i own tropico on ipad pro but it says i have to buy it again for iphone. devs, can you please help? im on xs max

 

I updated Tropico on my iPad. According to the app store page, the game is now a universal app. However, the game didn't show up in my purchase history on my iPhone.

Instead i have to buy the game again on my iPhone (€ 12,99).

I’m using the same Apple ID on both my iPad and iPhone and i tried to logging out of the app store and log in again, but that didn’t help.

 

Does it have cloud sync?

 

had the same issue but now fixed. what i was that i removed tropico from ipad, accessed purchase history and redownloaded again. checked the purchase history again on iphone and it was available there to download..hope this helps

Hey folks – it can sometimes take a while for the App Store to recognise an app as universal. For some users, it looks like you have to buy the game again.

If you've already purchased Tropico for iPad, and you're logged into the same Apple ID on your iPhone, you will not be charged again. You'll see a "You have already purchased this item" message after completing the purchase process:

thanks a lot guys for this port to iPhone, you're great and have done an excellent job with the UI (as indeed also in Rome TW), and i insist that you and the TreseBrothers should give some lessons of "how to make a port on smaller screens" to FTL & Darkest Dungeon lazy devs... LOL
