I'm not very skilled at the whole game center thing and I've no idea how to add or invite people. I go by Pocketmego if anyone wants to add me. Although any help in using GC would be appreciated. Thanks.
Since the app description is pretty bad (with hardly any info) I was wondering: Is it optimized for the Ipad retina display Does it have any classes How many maps and weapons does the game have Wifi/Bluetooth coop/multiplayer? IAP's (hopefully not...) First person view (don't like to play in 3rd)
At first it was, a few times i've accidentally crouched when i didnt want to. But on the other hand it makes it much easier to play which then makes it more fun Love the way it 'auto zooms' if you see the enemy. Got used to it now and just find it a great multiplayer blaster
Idk about the retina display. I play on 4s. There is 3 classes. Scout(SMG's), rifleman(assault rifles) and gunman(LMG's). 6 maps, well designed with small obstacles to crouch behind Each class has 6 weapons, 5 to unlock. All classes have the same 6 pistols, 5 to unlock There is single player, wifi online, bluetooth and private matches with friends There is IAP's to unlock the next weapon or armor upgrade. However, in under 3 games, I've unlocked the first unlockable ass-rifle. There is no first person, but there def should be. I doubt there will ever be because it will take a lot of work though.
I know the game is defined by it's unique controls, but vertical aiming should be added to add a higher level of competition. First person view should be added for convenience
Got Game Center working after deleting and reinstalling the game but in all my Online games so far i only have bots not a single real player!
I like that game very much. I hope that there is an Update available without those bots. I start a game, than i pause it and reopen it in 15min again. Every Gamer was a bot in this Game
Ok, I had a very favorable first impression of this game. What it does, it does really well and is legitimately fun to play. That is, until I realized that every single person I played in multiplayer was a bot in every game. Then the whole experience just became hollow. I deleted this game even after spending 5 bucks plus 2 in a bit of Iap. Because, the experience means nothing who all those stupid ass bots and no people. I'd rather play one good game with just 2 or 3 people in an area then a bunch of meaningless games against bots. I might come back to this when they loose he bots or fix the multiplayer. That's a shame, but I can get a clunkier experience just playing modern combat 3. It isn't as well designed as this, but at least my opponents are real people.
Deleted and reinstalled the game, and still, no multiplayer options. I'm getting extremely irate. :/ Last chance is to download the game over again and give that a try. If that doesn't work...well, a multiplayer based game with no multiplayer? Probably have to get a refund.
^Was just about to say the same thing. The bots are very good, think people dont realise they are bots and think theyre 'human' players. As you say the games quite new so there should be more players soon.
Funny, one of the main things that attracts me to this title is the lack of vertical aiming. Feels like it would be a lot more manageable on an iDevice. Often people forget less is sometimes more. In any case, I'm still on the fence solely due to IAP.
Yep same here, think its much easier to play, not so frustrating. Reminds me of the old days of Doom where there was no vertical aiming. Really enjoying playing against the bots in the various games, works well
I admit, I didn't realize at first. I suppose it would be worth hanging on to, and seeing if it picks up.
To be honest, that's actually another issue: price debates aside, reality is a $5 online game from an unknown dev was never likely to have much of an initial player base. And, (again, debates aside,) it isn't awfully likely to pick up much until a sharp price drop. Which given the fact that it contains IAP is on the cards sooner rather than later. Which, probably means at the least it would have been a better idea to launch with a "sale" to begin with in order to attract more actual players online.
I played about 12 or so online games and only met 2 other people. The bots, however, are still quite fun to play with. I recommend adding GC friends if you really want to play online.
