Yessir. I've said it before and I'll say it again...this is the only game I've ever played in 3 years of iOS gaming that has given me this amount of ****ing trouble. Hell, I even filled up the appropriate form, asking Apple for a refund and was instead told to shut up and contact the developer through that automated response thing, because this sort of issue is not under their control. What the hell man? I LOVE the bloody game, but this is just pissing me off beyond belief.
So what's the fix for it crashing every time I try to launch it after updating and restarting my phone?
Refer back the last few pages. I've a good few posts put up that I'm too tired to repeat now as its about 6am in the morning here. Essentially reinstalling will solve it but you need to check your gamecenter stats first to make sure your xp and stuff is synched. Page 66 onwards.
That's a pity, I can see it being very annoying. I may have asked already and this is an obvious one I know but it's worth asking. Is gamecenter multiplayer turned on in settings? Its under settings-general-restrictions. At the bottom gamecenter mutiplayer needs to be set to on. It probably is but it's my last resort.
It is. Rip, thanks for all your help and suggestions in the thread, you've done more than I could have asked for. Maybe I'll revisit this in the future (since a refund doesn't seem possible anymore) after another update or something, but for now...it's tormented me enough; deleted. **** it.
I primarily play on iPhone, updated before knowing there were issues. Opened the app after updating to frozen black screen. Deleted and reinstalled. Mistake. Wasn't synced with Game Center so it got wiped. Had played a little bit on iPad, up to level 4. Hadn't updated iPad yet so fired up the game on there and made sure all my Game Center stuff matched. Delete and reinstall on iPhone again, but then did the load Game Center app and play the game straight from there trick (you're a champ Rip). It loaded all my stats from the iPad profile seamlessly. So, not totally starting from square one but still lost a ton of progress It's a bummer, but I can never stay mad at you Trigger Fist. I can't quit you girl. Anyway just sharing my experience. As long as your Game Center leaderboards shows all the correct stats you should be good.
I just did an experiment, I deleted the app and reinstalled it, straight away my progress was gone when I launched the app. However, I went onto the achievements option from the main menu and then selected "view in game centre". Once I did this my kills were restored on the stats screen and my profile was fully restored.
I've waited all day for I can update my game... But I'm afraid to update because my fan center isn't updating! It says my global xp is 13,000 while I actually have 45,000 :/ is there an actual method to update my xp to gamecenter? Or do I have to keep waiting? Someone please reply
Close the game fully from the multitasking bar. Then open gamecenter app and check your leaderboard stats for each of the categories, rifleman, kills, global and the rest of them. Then tap play game from gamecenter app. Once game opens, tap on achievements and then view in gamecenter. That should sync up gamecenter with what's on your device. If at that stage, there are not synced up, hold off on updating just to be safe.
Do you do this before or after the update?? I'm very consfused here and don't wont to loose progress. Played a lot as a scout on iPhone and as a rifleman on the iPad :/
Before you update do this on both devices. There is a possibility that the save profile for both devices might not sync and you'll have to pick one over the other. Try what I said first and if it works great, if I'd doesn't come back and we'll see what to do at that stage.
Only if it crashes after update. Which may not happen. Let us know if the sync works first for either device before you update and I'll try and think of something else.

Okay, this is an easy one. Basically if your xp for each class, rank and global xp is up on the different leaderboards you're fine. Just delete it and redownload it. When you delete it, you will be asked if you want to keep or delete from gamecenter. Tap keep. This is very important. Once redownloaded, do not open it direct from the app icon. Open the gamecenter app. Go to trigger fist in it. You're listings will still be there, open the leaderboards. This is download you're info. Next tap on "play game" from within gamecenter app. This will launch Trigger Fist. It will take a bit of time to launch because it is transferring the data. That's it. You should be done.
