Can anyone shed some light on the "night timer" deal in the IAP mentioned? This game looks like an instant DL for me and I'm more than happy to put down some cash. I just want to understand what thats about.
After every scenario night comes and you have to wait just a little while before your next travel or search. The wait grows a little the longer you survive, but you can bypass that with a 15 sec ad. The timer IAP is included in the Survival Pack as well. I hope that helps.
I'm sold. I thought it was online only. That's a deal maker.. If I can play seemingly awesome games anywhere then I'll give it a go

Developer Question Just curious if you don't mind me asking. What was the game developed with? Any particular engine or software? I'm an aspiring developer trying to learn as much as possible. Learning JS and C# atm.
There's an area for you to scavenge corpses of other players in the game. Each scavenging attempt costs a coin. I think it is luck based. So far I've only gotten small amounts of scraps through scavenging.
My wife is already trying to ruin this game for me and its not even out yet How does the scavenging dead bodies work, if were finding things from other people is there a limit to the amount of bodies in a world because surely if everybody's dead body was in everyone else's world then the game would be full of dead bodies? Basically how does the dead body system work.
From what i see, stats of a dead guy gets sent to the servers. When you go to "scavenge" in the menu, you pull up a set number of random names from the server to be your scavenge targets. The set of names refresh after a quest or after a fixed duration, which ever comes first. Scavenging isnt recommend right now. The stuff you get from scavenging is based on the stuff equipped by the dead guy. My first death was at day 6 and it had a good amount of coins on him, so when i found him (scavenge myself LOL) on the scavenge list, it had high amount of coins for me. It's not really worth losing scavenge coins just to get a few measly coins or grenades right now. The chances of getting equips are small. Especially since people arent high-leveled (progress-wise) to yield a good reward during scavenge.
Profitable is yet to be determined, lol. We wanted it to be fair for everyone. I'm glad you see it for what it is.
You know what this needs? More melee weapons. Quick question mr. pants (Thats a rare combination of words) Can I just update straight from the beta version?

Forgot this was releasing tonight. Beta version was great. Nothing beats a polished dual stick game on IOS, especially on with roguelike elements. Gets very tense, most of the time you're on the run. Very happy dual stick controls were implemented
