Hah, thanks. I guess the point I was trying to make is that you can't scavenge XP, which is your score and you can't scavenge your progress in the game. When you die, that character is removed from the game and you have to start over. I think I understand the confusion, but I also think most permadeath systems can still have stores. Its just that our inventory comes from dead characters instead of something we decided should be available.
Initial impressions: Controls are fantastic. Twin sticks are both dynamic vsticks (floating). Very responsive. The RPG elements remind me of how NYZ2 did it, but the top-down view here gives it a stronger RPG emphasis than in NYZ2. Visuals are really nice. Everything feels totally fresh, like ripped out of a comic book and put into this game. Seems atmospheric enough, but a little bit darker would be perfect. Some of the landscapes, depite the ruin left by the apocalypse, still looks a little bright. The "trees" acting as a semi fog-of-war is a brilliant touch and i love the random flying leaves moving about the backgrounds. Sounds are really atmospheric too. This game is looking really strong. Im ready to buy the $4 pack thing. My axe is cleaving everything.
Sounds great I can't connect to any App Store right now for some reason. Was going to sign into my Kiwi account to check this out.
Thanks for sharing this great news, can't wait to download and buy some IAP(that is a rare statement).
Same here, I could download it from the NZ store but then I couldn't get the IAP, so I have to wait another 6 1/2 hours until it hits the uk.
Is anyone else having trouble signing into their iTunes account - no matter what account I choose it says - can't connect to iTunes Store I'd love to check this out
