Anyone else tired of iOS games not getting DLC after the main release?

Halycon 6, Sunless Sea, SteamWorld Heist and Invisible, Inc to name a few.

    No.

I’m quite happy for a game to be a complete game on my initial purchase.

I don't know any of these games. What are you expecting from their DLC/IAP?

Define "complete". It's a common practice to include expansions and extra content as part of IAP. For example, I play a card game that's the digital version of the physical game. Base game costs $40. Their expansions cost $30 to $40. I wouldn't expect to pay $40 and expect "free expansions for life". Ditto for the digital version... $1 to $4 per set seems reasonable.

Despite all the complaints online, I was happy to pay an additional $2 for the extra levels for the first Monument Valley.
