iPad 1 is pretty much the bare minimum - it's a big game with a lot going on and you may run into memory issues. Autosaves should preserve most of your progress and performance might improve with some upcoming changes, but we can't guarantee a 100% perfect silky-smooth experience.
Here goes my limited AppStore budget for the week And that has nothing to do with the fact that the second thing I installed after my productivity stuff on my new laptop was OpenTTD
I don't have an App Store installation to hand yet, but the latest beta clocked in at around 220 MB installed.
£5 expensive for transport tycoon... The game is an absolute classic and worth far far more, personally I'd drop £20 for it without thinking twice.
Like them or not, yours was a reasonable question that didn't deserve such a ridiculously outraged reply. Sadly, I'm seeing more and more of that on this forum.
So anyone actually play this yet? How is it compared to the original? If it plays well I'll probably pick this and The Cave up tonight.
I believe it was actually my question but I obviously agree with you. That's how it is around here. People feel their opinions/view points are worth more than others. Always so easy to do over the internet....
Dropping money on this great game is, in my opinion, a gesture of good faith to prompt the port of the other game we all really want... Rollercoaster Tycoon. This is a great game that will give you tons of genuine replay, so $10 is a pittance to the amount of gaming I will get out of this... That reminds me... When Rollercoaster Tycoon came out my wife and were newlyweds (married a year or two), and also both serious PC gamers at the time. I got home from work earlier then my wife and played the demo for RCT for several hours, she comes home, I serve her some dinner, tell her to try the demo as well. Next thing you know it is 11:00 at night and we are jumping in the car to go to Walmart so we can buy a computer game! True story!
Oh.. I'd happily pay £25 for an ios Railroad Tycoon 1 (2-3 sucked, yeah I know it was a different company but still) Totally and utterly agree. The instant it hits the uk App Store, I'm buying!
I'll match that as I would love to have me some Railroad Tycoon on the go as well... So many great classics that would make so much sense on this platform HD publishers looking to make money but never considering the installed classic fanbase!
