Totally shocked by this but very pleased! Already bought it, just waiting for it to download. If you haven't played this on PC, and even if you have, BUY THIS GAME!
I loved Bastion. I played it over a few days during my Xmas vacation when I had quiet moments to myself. I'm usually much more a casual gamer, and have had a hard time playing more 'hardcore' games on the small iPhone 5S screen, but Bastion was an exception. And, I liked that Bastion was challenging in parts but never impossible, so I got through the story (even though there were many other challenges I didn't complete), and that was quite refreshing to be able to do. I hope Transistor offers a similar difficulty curve/arc.
Totally signing that. One of the few full games that I couldn't put down until I reached the end. A perfect mobile experience. Hope this is just as good, then I'm sooo glad to pay ten bucks.
The description says only iPhone 5 or better, however I'll try it on my iPad mini (same specs as the 4s) and I'll see how it goes. And yes, I've been a fan of Transistor since the PS4 release, I'm curious to see if it's as good with touch controls as it is with the DualShock 4
Thinking about that 3rd purchase with the Steam summer sale just around the corner. Already have it on PS4 and PC.
Opened the TA app this morning at work. Saw this game at the top of "Hot New Games" and shouted "What the hell!". People working next to me thought my PC crashed.
They had me at "From the creators of Bastion." I'm primarily an iOS game, not a pc gamer, so this is new to me but I can't wait to dive in. Does this play similarly to Bastion? How does it compare? Thanks.
I have always been a fan of greg kasavin back in game spot.. His reviews were always on the mark. Bastion was the perfect game I am sure this would be better
