Universal Transistor (by Supergiant Games)

This is one of the best games of 2015 for me. $5 is a frakkin steal.

 

I really liked it on the PC, how does it feel on the IOS ?
is it recommended to buy it on the ios as well?

 

One of my goty without a doubt, more than my money's worth at full price.

Also I wasn't massively keen on bastion but this is amazing

 

Played for three hours...
Really amazing game, it feels like home on ios.
Headphones are recommended for playing. The sound is great

 

Oh damn I want this now. I had to pass earlier but now I don't even have a spare 2.1 gb on my phone after installing FF7...

 

Me too. It's been on my list... my long, ever-growing list.

 

Any "open world" elements here? Replayability?

After reading the posts here, i bought it and oh boy that such great game even on the IOS

ipad mini 2 keep crashing

This is happen to my iPad mini with retina display ( iPad mini 2 , iOS 8.4 )

1.Just install this game and enjoy the first 10 minutes .

2.Then , the game crash for numerous time .

3. Restart my iPad also don't solve the problem .

4. Then , I emailed Supergiant for solution . They told me to re-install in case I install corrupted game file .

5. Reinstalled . I can play until 15 minutes then it stuck and crash ( just after stare the giant portrait )

6.Really annoyed . Did anyone facing the same problem ??Any solution???

7.Then , I install Transistor to my iPhone 5s(JB) dan iPad 4(NON JB) ( both iOS 8.4 ). It run well with no noticeable lag at all .

 

I just completed this for the first time. Wow what a great game!

Total work of art. They did a sublime job.

This is by far the best walky-shooty game I ever played. I don't normally go for games like this but I love how you can plan your Turns and it's seamless with the action parts.

Story, art, sound, animation, colour pallet, atmosphere all compliment the fluid gameplay and the novelty of customising your load-out and experimenting with different Function combos means there's always some fresh way to play. But many valid options.

Needless to say I jumped straight in to another playthrough with the Game+ thingy. It throws it at you pretty hard from the start which is great! Then another run with some Limiters in place methinks...

I didn't really follow the story fully first time around, gonna turn the volume up this time round!

One thing, I maybe missed a backdoor, because I only did 5/6 Speed Tests. Or do you get the last one in Game+?

 

I've been playing for about two hours on my iPad mini 2. It's been so refreshing to play such an awesome game! The combat is unbelievably innovative, and the customization is really creative. However, the game keeps freezing up when I try to enter the storage archives. I don't know if there's anyway to resolve this? I just don't want to throw away another few hours to get back and have it maybe work

Without the glitch this game is an absolute must play

 

I've run into the same issue with the storage archives. Walk in, line of dialogue, black screen.

Been a great game so far, just can't profess to actually finish which is unfortunate.

 

@SuperGiant Where is the update that was supposed to add iPod touch 6th gen compatibility?

Just got an e-mail from Supergiant saying that the issues we've all run into should be fixed with and update thats coming today. Cant wait to get back into this game!

 

Update fixed my game, was able to completely finish without any other problems! Could not be happier

I thought it was just me but yes same here, installed to a new iPad here when they said they added Pro support and I cannot continue Game+

 

Is the iPad Pro support just for the increased resolution or was there a random sinister bug that caused the game not to run on the Pro?
