    Hi there!
I just got a new, 3rd generation 32g iPod Touch to replace my old 2g 8gig. Is there any way to transfer the games, so I don't have to restart them?

    Thanks

Ps.: I'm pretty sure there are already many topics like this, though I couldn't find any.

Restore from your backup on your new device.

I don't think it would handle a 2nd generation jailbroken software, haha.

Yes it will. It just won't be jailbroken anymore. But the games data will come over.

Hm, really? Can anyone confirm this please? I won't want to mess with it on the first day I have it. : D

    Consider it confirmed

That's the way it works. No need to worry. It'll transfer all you game save and app data to the new iPhone :)

Haha, I trust you, but I haven't heard of this before.

EDIT: What to do now, if I already selected 'Set up as a new device'? Where can I find the restore files?
