As untypical as this sounds, my laptop got ran over by a truck after it plowed through my dads office building wall.

With my laptop being utterly useless, I'm stuck with my iTouch. I should be getting a new laptop soon, but is there any way I can move the data (music, apps, etc..) onto the iTunes of the new laptop?

If not... what the hell do I do.

Edit -* No backup on CD. I know.. I suck.

You can add all your iTunes purchases in your new computer. When you are on iTunes, you'll see a link about them in "File" and when you click on it, you download for free all the list.
So, it's perfect for the apps as you buy them all :p

You need to add the new computer on your iTunes account before, of course ;)

no that only works with content purchased from iTunes

There is other software you can use, I don't remember any specific ones but you should be able to find something online.

The apps transfer automatically (transfer purchases for iDevice), but the data'll be gone forever :(

The music can be transferred with software found, well, anywhere. I personally (really) recommend Senuti, but there might be something free out there somewhere.

the ones that u got from itunes can be pulled back from the ipod in itunes its self.
as for the ones u have on CD, u already have a copy of.:p
as for the ones from friends, why do u have those?;)

    i guess thats apples logic.
